  • I cannot help quivering when listening to this

  • It's because of this song that learning to play the violin is on my bucket list.

  • T_T

  • I would pick up a violin and strive to learn it, just so I can play this song.

  • Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

  • humans don't deserve to live as a race.....we are cruel and evil to each other, with no real redeeming values.....the human race deserves to be wiped out........we have not learned.....after WW2, and the camps the UN/allied nations said "never again"....but look at us now we are still allowing it to happen......why do humans deserve to keep living?........Humans need to be punished for our cruelty........I'm no exception......I human just like the rest of us...

  • sorrow.

    tears.

    pain.

    forgiveness.

  • It annoys me that I can't see much beauty in this song. It's obviously trying to be sad, but it just doesn't work on me. To me it's too repetitive and simple, and I don't like the simple theme to begin with. I love sad songs, but I always get linked to this song as the idiosyncratic sad violin piece. So to find the songs I find sad, I can't work on recommendations, I have to find them myself. Woe is me

  • the 1969 book "Myth of the Six Million" by Harvard PhD David Hoggan unmasked how the WW2 victors employd the "Holocaust" lies to bury Nazism and provide justification for the military takeover of Germany. Subsequently, the fraud was used to steal Palestine and deflect scrutiny from the mass extermination operations carried out by the WW2 victors such as Holodomor, Katyn forest, Bromberg, Danzig, Dresden, Hamburg, Cologne, Royan, Berlin, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and the Gulag death camps.

  • beautiful no doubt....but I think Saint Seiya has the most beautiful songs ever.

  • Al Maestro il mio inchino più profondo!

    Grazie :)

  • such a beautiful movie and music

    us humans are so stupid.......

we never learn, the majority of us are so focused on either blowing someone up or obtaining so called 'money' when it is made of the same material that JEANS are..... we are WEARING MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is beautiful

  • A Masterpiece. Either the movie and song.

  • Beautiful song, beautiful movie. Gives me goosebumps.

  • No, we will not grow as human beings. I've seen too much tragedy, too much evil, too much cruelty, and I wasn't even born till decades after the Holocaust. The human heart is deceitful above all other things and is desperately sick. Who can understand it? (Jeremiah 17:9)

  • im really enthused of this man ;) R.I.P Oskar Schindler

  • Schindlers List is one of the best movies in history

  • Suuuuper lindo :)

  • this music wakes the dead out of their graves

  • its amazing how music elevates the mind, just look @ most of the comments in here...90% of them have something to do with race, religon or human beings in a whole, and theres nothing wrong with that. It's just amazing how music can bring people back to earth and try and resolve issues. The Holocaust was VERY sad

but the thing that saddens me even more is that its still happening now, but the attacker is Israel, and Muslims are the new Holocaust :((

  • I often play this one on my violin. I often have to cry :(

  • I love this song, beautiful. This is such a devestating part of history.

"The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness. " - Joseph Conrad.

  • im german and i really cant believe how people can do that to other people @crgaille im not picking on you or something but the jews are no race its a religion i was in israel in Yad Vashem i it makes you so sad and speechless what the germans did and im not proud of that but just let you know people if someone attacks israel they attack germany too thats what my councler said what happend is never to excuse and should never happen again

There is just one race and thats the human :)

  • Anathama to you.

  • gracias a Oscar Schindler sobrevivieron mil judios k d otra manera vete a saber como hubieran acabado.

en memoria d los 6 millones d judios asesinados x el regimen nazi

  • When will we ever learn????

Its heartbreaking to think that we havent learnt a damm thing after all these eons!!!

However one must remain with a knowlege that we will someday grow as human beings and begin to realize that we are all one.!!

  • @lebuier

It's difficult for me to hope in that day. As great as hope helps people cope with circumstances, reality is a difficult, cold truth, that pierces the soul, and once it does, the days become filled with emptiness. Human beings will always find ways to hate each other. There is so much hate in this world, causing so much pain, I cannot see a brighter future for us.

  • @lebuier

    human beings will never learn

its painful to say that, but ignorent and crazy people like Hitler, Pol Pot and Saddam Hussein wil always be here

  • We will never learn. The only time I see human beings putting our small differences aside and coming together are if little aliens come down and threaten humans and the planet. I cant see this happening. Or if the planet is threatened by a massive asteroid and we only have days to live. This could happen. Or if we are threatened by a disease like bird or swine flu that kills millions of people, and doesnt discriminate agains rich or poor, black or white, young or old, Christian Jew Muslim...

  • @lebuier We do learn all the time and constantly change, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. It all comes down to experience and learning from consequences. WW2 was a major lesson for the whole world, that we did fortunately learn A LOT from, but there are still a vast majority of things yet to learn, experiences to live and consequences to deal with. As humans and citizens of Earth, we're all one, but we're definitely all different and that's what we've got to realize and accept.

  • great movie and song!!!

  • when I see the hatred that still exists in this world, toward many, not just the jews, we're not civilized at all, we're just faking it. It seems the only way we can stand ourselves is to hate somebody else. the meek shall inherit the earth.

  • pray to god that somthing like this never happens again

  • it already is happening in Darfur and Rwanda

  • i no eh...it was absolutley horrible

  • es preciosa....

  • I love this song

  • I can't help but want to cry every time I hear this.

  • One of the most beutifull Movie scores ever.

  • so many hate in this world, that's so sad...

  • In the scene at the beginning of the movie (while Schindler is getting dressed to go to the Nazi party) there is this nice music being played by the radio. Does anybody happen to know what the name of the song is? Thank you for letting me know.

  • Thrills. Tears. So intense melody.

  • simply perfect

  • ADL Honors 'The Mexican Schindler' For Heroic Rescue Of Jews During The Holocaust

  • that piece is great..... it create the full effect when you see the film

  • es gibt viele kategorien von liedern.

z.B. schöne lieder; lustige lieder; traurige lieder...usw...

Dieses Lied an sich, fühlt sich an wie Tod.

    Perfekt gamacht.

    Echt super geil!

Und es ist trozdem wunderschön und todtraurig zugleich!

    GENIAL!

  • In the strangest way possible I cry when I think about what Oskar Schindler did, it touches me, and I think it is important people see the compassion of people during those times.

  • Schindler stood out (and other's like him throughout history) because they realise we are all just human and are all exactly the same (even in our private thoughts and worries) but he was one of those rare individuals that have the strength in themselves to try and make a difference and will stand up for what they believe in, however unwittingly.

At the time, the majority of Germans were petrified of the Nazi regime and found it safer just to keep their head down

    Beautiful piece...

  • compared to our selfish times...

  • Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire..

  • .... never again, never.

  • hey gauntface I know exactly what you mean dude. My grandfather was only a child or an teenager when the Japanese came and invaded the Philippines. This song also makes me think of the brutality shown by the Japanese and the Death March.

  • The jews were the first race on the planet.they have the first language. they have powerful blessinbgs from on high. this is not the first time that the evil one has tried to exterminate them...even to this day the evil one plots against them ...thru the desires of irant to wipe them from the palnet to you...who is so full of hate...may God open your eyes. may he bless and keep you once he does......shalom

  • Don't forget there are about 12 tribes of jews and they look different and share different culture but what unites a jew together is their religion.

  • I can never understand how people can hate some of the world's most intelligent, artisitc, advanced people Earth has produced. To hate the Jews is to hate the best of life.

  • looking over comments made from 5 months ago....

    get a job you bum

  • Revaling yourself on the web in front of millions of users about the condition of your job and your personal finances just to tell off an 18yo kid on the internet. Pure class. $140 K worth of stocks in your bank? Congrats, now you can use that money to buy some lessons on humility. I'm not surprised that you have a job that allows you to work at home cause otherwise, I have no idea how you can have the time to surf you tube.

Since youre not going to read this, Im sure you wont be replying :)

  • Heavy song......

  • My heart goese out to Anne Frank.

  • I love the people and the nation of Israel today !! After the second world war. Israel declared Independance, 7 Arab countries tried to take it away. Israel fought and WON !! The Israeli flag flies high from Independance Hall !! Im so PROUD of them. People like Moshe Dayan, David Elazar, Ariel Sharon and many others !!

  • I dont know why this comment gets thumbs down....

the land israel is now located, has been ruled by so many different nations over the course of history. there is not ONE SINGLE nation or ethnicity that has a real claim to it. palestine wasn't even a country in older times.

and I'm not even a damn jew, but I'm sick of the palestinian sympathizers

  • I love it, so beautiful. Make me cry when i think about the millions of people that died.

  • tear from my eye. nice!

  • when i hear this song, i remember the movie..eye opener. then i would also remember the "death march" here in the philippines from which my grandfather had escaped.. but i know he would never forget the torture he experienced & the brutality of the Japanese Kempeitai.

  • It's so moving...

  • my grandparents allways ask me to play this song on my violin and i always do. every time i do they always start to cry but they always ask me to on 11th of november seeing as my granddad was in ww2

  • @jrwalker12 omg can you please, please PLEASE scan the sheet music and send it to me? I'd love to learn it for my Grandfather. He was also in WW2 in the Canadian Armed Forces. Also, three of my five cousins are veterans. Thanks so much!

  • @jrwalker12

wow ! same here :) my grandpa allways wanted me to play that song on the violin on his birthday and he liked it so much he allways got in tears.. and i played it every year on his birthday, and sadly too on his funeral :'( RIP grandpa..

  • it is a great movie.

  • As I stated on the piano clip...this should bring a tear to the eyes every time you hear this great but melancholy piece...beautifully written and performed on both ends...for those who have not seen the movie, I RECOMMEND it, it is quite the learning experience and although yes it being Hollywood is very very factual. One of the best films ever.
