It seems like in the US, as opposed to most of Europe, it was legal to have only side view mirror on the driver's side. The factory used to say the optional second side mirror took 10mph off the top speed of the Testarossa.

Those guys look really stupid with those clothes especially that guy right at the beginning.

One of the criticisms of the show was that Don Johnson always looked uncomfortable in the pastel suits. I seen him being interviewed a few years back and he joked about the “guy in the funny clothes” when asked about the Film based on the series he said “I never saw it” and “apparently I’m not the only one” He gave the impression that he just wished it would go away.

You know the "Ferrari Daytona" from the 1st and 2nd seasons was actually a late-70's Corvette kit car by Cali-based McBurnie Coachcraft. It's funny, but the kit car on the show actually made the value of the real 365GTB's go thru the roof in the '80's...

Those general specs might likely apply to the car, as they would to a 512TR, which isn't an exact Testarossa either. Back in the day, all the tv-mags gave the info about the white car that i just stated. Someone else posted this exact same info on the net, questionwise. Well I have to admit, I've never heard of the Latarossa, however, it may be a take on the old Testa Rossa from the 1950's, and this new one being "late".

The 512 TR was essentially a facelifted Testrarossa, however, the F512M was an almost fully updated car.
