By themselves yeah, but I have swapped out one of the 80mm intake fans and leave the front door open most of the time and mine moves air just fine. It will heat the whole room up in no time.
@theRAGEclanmw2 I just looked it up and if it really is 14 inches long there is no way you will get it into this case. That seems awfully large for a PSU, I doubt you would be able to get that into most mid tower cases.
@muhendisane No point to. I like the looks of this case and it cools well. Like I said in your other comment I am overclocked to 3.4 GHz and see temps 50-55 C at full load. This chip can take 70-75 without hitting its thermal limit.
pretty sick, i have the same case and i was wondering if the zalman 9900 would fit, im guessing it will. I have a Q6600 and im probably going to OC to 3.0 to start . I like the case but the damn lights on the front all died within a week except the red one.
That's funny because all my front lights work and the red one is pretty much invisible when on because of how it's positioned on mine. I don't really need a HDD light anyways.
i thought i read the clock speed @ CPUz 2.4 something. Maybe i didn't catch correct. My bad. And btw this is one kickass computer u've got there. Enjoy it.
The built in ATI overdrive in the catalyst sowftware will overclock it up to 1000MHz and the mem to 1200MHz. ATI has a tool that may go farther, but I don't have it installed.
Here is the Benchmark on very high settings with 4x AA using guru3d's utility.
4/21/2009 6:06:26 PM - Vista 64 Beginning Run #1 on Map-island, Demo-benchmark_gpu DX10 1680x1050, AA=4x, Vsync=Disabled, 32 bit test, FullScreen Demo Loops=3, Time Of Day= 9 Global Game Quality: VeryHigh - TimeDemo Play Started , (Total Frames: 2000, Recorded Time: 111.86s) !TimeDemo Run 0 Finished. Play Time: 87.61s, Average FPS: 22.83 Min FPS: 16.73 at frame 142, Max FPS: 26.64 at frame 877
I don't have the full version of crysis, but I will download the demo for now. I haven't had a machine that could handle it until now but I do plan on buying the full version.

Does your "dirk tooth" make a difference? I have sli gpu's and get cooler temps with the dirk tooth out.
BliizardLiizard 5 months ago
@BliizardLiizard No idea, I haven't tested it without it. But you do lose a fan that blows right at the CPU cooler
sda3 5 months ago
@sda3 Okay. The stock front 120 and rear 120 hardly move any air in this case.
BliizardLiizard 5 months ago
Hey does the fans come with the case? or do you have to buy them?
Ruffies22 5 months ago
@Ruffies22 the side panel fans do come with the case
sda3 5 months ago
@theRAGEclanmw2 That would work.

@theRAGEclanmw2 It is an ATX power supply, no reason it wouldn't fit.

micro atx compatible?

@elngreo13 The case is, yes.

you could buy better case by paying a few dolars more which have better air cooling.. like LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62
measure twice cut once :)

Yup, it fits. Just barely but i didn't have to modify anything to get it in. It cools very well because of where the case fans are.

why did u downclocked ur cpu??
xxlrules 2 years ago
What do you mean? The standard clock speed on the chip is 2.66 Ghz, it is running at 3.6 Ghz

Oh, I have been.

What are your usual cpu temps with the zalman heatsink?
lmayes33 2 years ago
Mid 30s C at idle and upper 40s to low 50s at load. I have never seen the temps go above 55C overclocked to 3.6 Ghz

appreciated.

With the settings on High it averaged about 44 fps and there wasn't much noticeable difference in quality.

Great. waiting for the benches then.
Btw, how far does the auto-tunee opition overclock the gpu?
