Okay so everyone is asking WHAT'S THE FIRST SONG (before 0:30) and it's also been driving me crazy since this episode aired. After hours of googling (ugh), the song is M2C "Night to Fall". He doesn't have it on his myspace and it's unreleased, but he is supposedly coming out with an EP soon. He seems to have a hiphop sound so the techno/electronic vibe is probably because of the mixing by District 78.
