  • She was so cute and talented back then. Now, she is a woman that is aging so finely gorgeous and she can still sing. She is a gem of the music industry. So underrated.

  • fantastica mujer, que linda interpretación, eres lo máximo, te adoramos en Ecuador. Marlon

  • I forgot how CUTE she was back then! LOL! So talented!

  • is this like the first video then Foolish Beat coz, in this video, the "boyfriend" is here so is it on the other video, and on this video shows how sweet they are together while the next (Foolish Beat) they've broken up.

  • DG is what I would consider a 50 hit wonder...some of her songs just didn't get played enough on mainstream radio. I do admire her also for her work on Broadway. How many popstars can make claim to being a headliner in both areas. Having trouble thinking of any really. I'm sure DG doesn't think of her accomplishments that way because of her humility, but she is a great inspiration and example to all. Thanks again for being you.

  • LOL check out the boy george style hat!! 80's.. i rem def leopard, metallica, madonna, paul simon, elton john, whitney, pet shop boys, bangles, cindy lauper etc. today's stuff isn't all "garbage". it's just different. alot are really good. there's variety too. and becos of the internet you don't have to listen to only tv/radio feeds for the masses, including music from "garbage" artists. <3<3<3 internet/youtube

  • Her voice seems a lot less shrill then when I just watched it when sang it much later, again. I like this one better

  • This song reminds me of Sundays durung my childhood. The radio always play this before

  • Wow she really reminds me of me in the late 80s. I did not realize how much of an influence she was in my day!

  • Debbie 4ever!!!1 ^^

  • Man!this brings back so many good memories, what happened to the young talent we use to listen to I the 80's?

  • @Mr80sflashback some of them are dead and some of them are in the nursing homes right now!.. lolz

  • I keep all my Debbie Gibson CD´s/LP´s covered in plastic in a safe box in the attic because of their sentimental value....I throw away the covers of the Britney Spears CD´s because I need more space in the attic. That´s how I compare Debbie and Britney. Thanks!

  • @JorgeInternacional thats good very emotional to remember those 80's song you cannot compare in nowadays era... full of garbage bieber ,britney spears .. no way!

  • as noted in wikipedia about Debbie Gibson:

Deborah Ann "Debbie" Gibson (born August 31, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. In 1988 she was pronounced the youngest artist to write, produce, and perform a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, with her song "Foolish Beat" and she remains the youngest female to write, record, and perform a No. 1 single to date.[1

  • This song was #1 on the day when I... woke up, took a shit, took a shower, went to school... ahh well.

    but it's really a nice song. :-)

(oh yes, I guess I even took some clothes on too before going to school)

  • Paulpaid - I'm extremely agreed with u, i used to be Debbie's fan at 90s and i actually quite sad about her quitting from singing..

  • I was in the 7th grade when this song was popular :-) I had over 100 posters on my wall by the time this single hit

  • @debfan74 i was also in 7th grade when this song was played on the radio.

  • @BRYANMEARS1975 awesome :-) by the time this album was out I had tons of pics on my wall in my room :-)

  • This song was #1 the week I was born too!

  • This song was the number one song the week I was born..

  • stewie sung this better. haha

  • Taylor Swift is this generations Debbie :)

  • Love the scrunchy! ;-)

  • 7 people are lost in outer space!

  • Deborah Ann Gibson 2nd #1 Billboard 100 on March 4th, 1989 for 3 weeks!

  • she,s the best ,,no doubt

  • En mi opinión una de las mejores reinas del pop 80 y 90, pues ella es una artista completa: compone, canta, actúa, tiene muy buena coreografía. Me gusta Debbie Gibson. La admiro mucho = In my opinion one of the best pop queens of 80 and 90, as she is an complete artist, composes, sings, acts, has very good choreography. I like Debbie Gibson. I admire a lot.

  • 從國中聽到當媽咪的年紀,還是聽不厭!絕對的精典(^_^)

  • !!!

  • adooro essa musica..!!!simplismente maravilhosa debbie gibson

  • The 80s was an amazing world

  • 963 people are lost in her eyes

  • Debbie Gibson was the youngest person to write, produce, and sing a no. 1 song....at 16...I don't know if she still is though....

  • @abousono1 sadly soulja boy tied her for Crank Dat

  • I am so going to sing this at Karaoke on my upcoming cruise.I may not have the singing ability to pull it off as well as Debbie Does but it's all in good fun.

  • No me importa no saber a donde me llevara

tu puedes llevarme hasta el cielo…♫♫

  • Had the biggest crush in the world on her when I was a kid. Still do ;) lol

  • Another awesome talented REAL musician from the 80's. Wow there was nothing like the 80's music period. Pure talent.

  • Please stop the quarreling about Debbie and Britney. Let's end it with this note: Debbie never shaved her head.

    Nuff said!

  • @btqy Amen BTGY :-)

  • @debfan74 She's on Celebrity Apprentice with Trump. You can catch the first episode on HULU.

  • @btqy i watched it on demand on the comcast demand section

  • I remember when this song first came to video hits, I thought she had an amazing voice, time has passed now, am wondering where she is now and if she continues to sing

  • @myfeeling4you check out the syfy channel forher and Tiffany

  • @myfeeling4you Deb took a break from the limelight-too famous and the public was stationed outside her house. She almost had a breakdown. She got back on her feet and always wanted to be on Broadway. That's where she has been hiding for years. She's played leads in a handful of play, Lately Tiffany and Deb has been performing. Now Debbie at 40+ is making her way back. And is she fit and still can sing.

  • I have loved her voice forever!

  • yea...it make me so sad...dis song seem hv soul....fo zq zuleyka....:(

  • I can sing this really good......

  • this may be her best solo, but her best backing vocals are on the Circle Jerks "I wanna destroy you" true story look it up!

  • I love , thanks for sharing , Bye

  • i like this music, she has a wooderfool voice !

  • This is one of my most favorite songs by Debbie Gibson, I even dedicated this song to my soulmate because I Loved Him so much!

  • It's weird that Debbie Gibson hasn't had a hit for many many years now.... What happened? Did she retire from music industry or something?

  • @achoiusa / she's been doing movies and Broadway.

  • hermosa cancion y testigo de una mas hermosa aun etapa de mi vida en mi adolscencia, 86............bonitos recuerdos en Lima , santa anita. Ada montero, aun te llevo conmigo.......miguel

  • I love it when someone discovers who Deb is, timeless music and a class act.

  • Excuse me friend, but there is No comparison between Debbie and britney spears. Debbie is a superbly talented MUSICIAN who writes i.e. Composes her own songs, writes her own lyrics, co-produces and was a good singer. She is widely considered one of the best songwriters of the 80's. Britney spears is a manufactured, untalented, imaged based TnA contestant, whogot rich on imaged based pop (ask Maddona) Better compare her to one of the Simpson sisters. Way beneath Debbie's Criteria and quality.

  • @paulpaid you're right bro. where's she now? debbie where r you?

  • @paulpaid

    u right!

  • @paulpaid Falou tudo e mais um pouco, afinal...quem é britney spears????

  • @paulpaid Very Well Said :-)

  • 16 or 17 and more talented than some of the most mediocre teen acts now..She was amazing here... :D she still is <3

  • How old was she ???? her age seems to be 16 or 17

  • Cute, sweet vid. :)

  • Cara que música linda hein ?

  • @KadrunkoMaluco

  • i always wondered if she really played the piano on this track...now i'm too lazy to google it

  • The only singer right now, who has this type of talent, is Taylor Swift.......These 2 girls have alot in common,on top of Extreme Talent !

  • She is nice..

  • I WISH IN TODAYS TIME WE COULD HAVE THIS KIND OF MUSIC.. SO BEAUTIFUL AND WITH A REAL STORY...

  • THIS SONG TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN I WAS A LIL GIRL.. WHEN MUSIC WAS NICE AND PURE ALL ABOUT LOVE AND REAL LIFE ITS WHAT SUPPOSED TO BE..:):):):)

  • @LamissBubbles76 bet your a fatty

  • I LIKE THIS SONG VERY MUCH..

  • WOW I LOVE This Song!!

  • Does she read these comments?

  • She's pretty.

  • @dogface1123: I totally agree with you but do have to say that after the 90's , music was lost!!! I miss early 90's music also!!

  • I have to learn this for a call back audition for Back to the 80's... any tips?

  • Check out Debbie's video "Shake Your Love". The party's ON! That's how I remember the 80's. The music was never better, the attitude was having FUN with the music. A lost concept today. It's easy to be nostalgic about a decade that awesome. After the 80's ended, so did the national party. America's a very dismal place now. If I can find me a DeLorean with a Flux Capacitor included, I'm headed BACK to the 80's.

  • ...=)

  • que de beau souvenir

  • takes me back with a thousand memories i no a man shouldnt admit to his soppy feelings but this reminds me of meeting my wife and still feel the same for her all these years later .thanx debbie g.x

  • i love debbie gibson's songs!

  • Está canción le gustaba mucho a mi hermana mayor, crecí con este tipo de música

qué tiempos tendría yo unos 6 años.

  • Eelente canción, la adoro desde que la escuché por primera vez

  • Wow those were the days, funny shit! I would still get lost in her thighs....

  • if we could only go back to the innocence of the 80's when our pop diva's were actually dressed. Have we really fallen so low that the only way we enjoy music is if it is manufactured and the singers are practically naked. Bring back Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, The Bangles, The Jets

  • I honestly get lost in my girl's eyes...

  • This song makes me think of my beautiful girlfriend Missy :-)... she has the most beautiful brown eyes you've ever seen!!

  • TGIF!! LOL

  • @alex140385 This song was either from INTO THE BLUE or ELECTRIC YOUTH. don't remember now. Its been so long since I had the tapes. but yeah, in Junior High, I had debbie gibson on cassettes.

  • @dorkusmaximus333 sorry, OUT OF THE BLUE( not INTO THE BLUE) or ELECTRIC YOUTH.

  • TOTALMENTE DE ACUERDO

    GIBSON IS THE BEST

  • coltsrule post lmas, when ur post the cam opens shooting down her tits! truth will make one laugh, And it it is true, Good observation, And ur right on all counts sex sells, loo it Britney?

  • lindo

  • one of my favorite song......:(

  • 80s the best years of music and videos

  • Very pretty. Hat has got to go though.

  • @RandiSierra Oh I beg to differ... the hat is every bit the 80's, and it is Debbie's spirit, full of that moment in time, and so central to its evolution, lest we be stuck with Wham, and MJ.... who are fine, but Debbie took the edge off that time, of punk music. She was real, and everyone, Guys and Gals, could see her mind's eye as she sat in her beroom and compoased, and God what a sweet lady... I repeat Lady. Hear it in her voice?? No? ...What a pity.

  • @buyandby Yes beautiful voice, beautiful poetry, beautiful song, beautiful girl, a pure sweetheart, but I would have worn that hat just a little more pointed down not so up. I do remember George Michael with a hat like that in a Wham video, and Michael Jackson in a video with a hat too is that what you mean? Yeah I guess I never thought of it, as far as the evolution of wearing a hat in that style it is different from the traditional ways of how to wear certain types of hats.

  • @RandiSierra GAYYYYYY

  • i love how at the beginning the cam slows down at her tits even tho shes underage they knew that sex sells

  • This was Dawn Wiener's and Brandon's song..

  • when, i'm lost in your thighs . ..

  • me gusta.

    me gusta mucho!

    el Dios, this is hot!

  • one of my favorite female songs of the 80's...i was more into bands like guns n roses, bon jovi, motley crue, ac/dc...etc...but this is one song you just cant deny, it is very beautiful

  • Me pierdo en tus ojos

    y siento mi espiritu elevarse

    y alzarse como el vineto

    ?Estoy Enamorada?

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE TIS SONG!!!

  • this song brings back the good ole days...what a great voice...

  • | Still remembering those wonderful days, grtz from Belgium

  • Good song but GAY video! Remember Debbie vs Tiffany?

  • god i remember those hats

  • I remember hearing my sister mimic debbie... The good ol days. piff..

  • ¡Anhelo perderme en tus ojos!

  • I'm glad she left her nose the way it is

  • Such a beautiful song Debbie is really talented

  • i think debbie is from anoka, minnesota. i am familiar with that city, but havent seen her yet. she was on pbs ch.2 singing a few years ago.

  • Este video es uno de mis favoritos me trae muchos recuerdos de mi adolescencia, la epoca de mi primer amor, super linda cancion. Siempre estuve perida en tus ojos.

  • I love Britney, but she's no Debbie Gibson...

  • I have never seen brittney play piano...but, I would probably take brittney's grindin, to debbie's piano, anyday, especially now that I am nearly 40...lol...

  • Instant crush!

  • Debbie or Deborah Gibson all the way. She is so talented and one of the most talented musicians and artists of her generation. She wrote, produced, sang, and made her own albums.

  • I just went back on time .... what a memories !!!!

  • Those were the "teenie" idols in the 80´s: real artists, not only "mass production" or covers producing-products...thanks for the video!

  • Debbie Gibson's "Lost In Your Eyes" vs. Britney Spears' "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart", who is the better pop princess?

  • @knightsofstjoan2004 excuse me friend, but there is No comparison between Debbie and britney spears. Debbie is a superbly talented MUSICIAN who writes i.e. Composes her own songs, writes her own lyrics, produces her own recordings and was a wonderful singer. She is widely considered one of the best sonwriters of the 80's. Britney spears is a manufactured , untalented, imaged based TnA contestant, Better compared her to one of the Simpson sisters. Way beneath Debbie's Criteria and quality.

  • @paulpaid Britney was no lady once infected by her entourage and management.

These songs remind me of one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew.... Violi N. this is your song. This song is a balad to sweetness over raunchy sex! God give us more please... of Debbie, and Vi, and the 80's... the greatest of all eras IMHO.Mahal Kita Violi.

  • @paulpaid you're full of shit, there's no reason to insult other artists. britney spears is an amazing singer and she's written many of her own lyrics as well and she's also produced some of her music. and even if it weren't for that, considering her stage performances, there is no fucking way anybody should be calling her untalented.
