  • Sorry to see that machine all broke up,but love that tune, healed my soul, took me back over 20 years.....the good times...thanks.Good luck with future flights....

  • @Alexw851

Earmuffs LOL, yeah that would have been a good idea

  • what you really need is a pair of ear muffs too block out every1 else lol. as far as copterx helis go i can say they're really good quality . I got the airframe for £54 (include p&p) and that didn't include blades, canopy or the electronics so i went with a canomod canopy straight off.

  • V nice.

The CopterX helis seem to be up there with the best quality wise, and the best looking in my opinion too. I like shiny blue things. :-D

  • I am considering buying one of these bad lads. I noticed they come in the stripped down model for $200, or a kit that comes with EVERYTHING needed to fly for $370. Whats the best route to take for this? Also, the complete kit comes with a radio too. Will I be able to program this radio for other helis in the future or will I need a new one too? Is it best to get a multi heli radio? any info would be GREAT! thanks

  • 370$ yes, plus 80$ minimum shipping

    ehirobo

  • Well, like I said, I got my CopterX! And it's awesome! I crashed mine within 3 minutes because of the dark blue canopy!

PAINT IT BRIGHT NEON! Otherwise you'll lose orientation too, unless you've got super pro skills! After painting it, I can fly it all over without losing orientation. Hopefully the same thing will happen to your copterX if you paint it, so I would suggest that.

I was surprised how much more control I had with that 2 tone paint job!

  • we all need to make mistakes to learn, at least your honest enought to show youve had a spill, and not just show your "best 2 minutes" like your some kind of wannabe prodigal flyer.

best of luck with future flights :)

  • Thanks for the video post! It was cool to see the kind of damage from a crash with the copterX.

You're right, SIM SIM SIM! Once you can do everything in the sim, try it with the real thing, and you'll be able to do anything. The first time you try it is nerve wracking, but worth every penny!! You're right, you should be happy you crashed! It's a part of getting to your goal.

I just crashed my 450X. Thinking of getting the CopterX 450SE V2.

What broke in your crash? List it? thx!

  • I feel your pain bro, thanks for sharing.

I especially like it when a car goes by...

(when I'm flying in the street), and they assume I know what I'm doing.

Looks like those main blades are still intact.

  • Tell me about it. I was flying my falcon 3D for the first time today. All the guys in my apartment building wanted to fly it... I tried to explain to them it's NOT something you can just pick up and fly like a toy....

  • Hah, the crashes are inevitable...

Gotta ask, was the wife the one that distracted you? ;-)

  • Hey jonboy545,

it wasn't the wife, it was some dude playing with his 4x4 RC who kept asking how to fly one of these babies, dude said he tried planes but can't and just gave up...

  • If the guy can't fly planks this is definately not the hobby for him.
