My host family there gave me a cell phone to use so I could call them while I was out and if I needed help (which was helpful the one time I got lost on the trains) But I know phones working there from america is a difficult thing to find. Its easier to just get one there, if your there long enough.
haha, mine was pathetic, it looked more like a house phone, but you could use it outside. So I had to type numbers in and everything. But that isn't really normal, lol But if you get a regular cell phone there its just like the ones here and you can sometimes get an english language option on them, like the spanish option on a lot of phones in the US

And I was being quite not to disturb my family through the paper thin walls in my house. Plus this is informational and not necessarily ment to entertain you.
