  • Since I've been asked, it is actually a 3x11 three pass turk's head knot. Unfortunately when I started selling them, no one had a clue what that meant, so I showed them to people. The most common name I heard was 'oh a sailor bracelet' hence the colloquial name. While I hate being photographed or filmed, I intend to share more projects right after I replace my boat. Until then, I might do some living room tutorials..

  • @mysticknotwork @mysticknotwork the knot is a 3x11 3 pass turks head knot. I started making them in 1978 and have made hundreds of thousands of them as a way to earn my allowance from my grandfather, and have restarted the business to leave my IT job. Feel free to checkout my site for more of our basic stuff and our facebook page has some of my fancier pieces.

  • It's legit because he's on a dock ^^

  • @HizaProductions lol, I'm on MY dock :) I'm saving my money though, I had to sell my Grampian sailboat last Spring, but I'm well on track to replace it. Looked at a 42' Islander a few weeks ago. It was the worst summer not being able to make a quick run out to Block Island :(

  • Do you think you could show a video on how to make one?

  • Very cool! It takes me considerably longer to tie them. :)

  • Neatttoooooo I want to learn this sooo bad! lol. I'm so poor I have to make my own accesories. D:

  • Dude, you make that look entirely too easy. Great work!

  • Slick! I really think "Barnacle Bill The Sailor" would be more appropriate background music for a SAILOR bracelet though. Or the Benny Hill music.
