It was a great pleasure to hear your concert yesterday evening. I loved every moment I listened to your playing. The Haydn sonata was enchanting. Thank you Maestro!
what stands out with this man is how his musicality has continued to develop and deepen. Behind the fingers is a palpable intellect. The etiquette associated with classical guitar can often stifle individuality but Mr Galbraith seems to make it work for him. Masterful.
Truly amazing talent, lovely sounding guitar, and so well played. Mr. Galbraith has developed a unique technique. I would like to know more about the sound box on the floor that is attached to the guitar. How much does it contribute to the sound? Thanks
My mum used to say about Paul, when he was about 8 or 9, and used to come over to our house to play, that he'd end up being some sort of genious or virtuoso - and she was dead right!
An amazing guitarist, beyond a doubt! I don't really like his interpretations of Bach's sonatas and partitas though; technically flawless, but oh so boring! Not in the same league as Podger on barock violin or Smith on lute, musically speaking.
His Albeniz is beautiful and perhaps more his 'thing'? The 8-string guitar and his way of playing it is revolutionary, to say the least. I wonder if this is the future standard for the guitar?
I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Galbraith live once. At the time I didn't know how rare an opportunity it was. I'll gladly settle for a DVD performance until the next live one.
hermoso, cuantas cuerdas tiene? y esa caja del suelo que será para resonar?
