It's a Sterlite storage bin. The lid has been customly cut and there is mesh wire on there. You can see it at about 0:26. Storage bins are possibily one of the best homes for hamsters due to the tremendous amount of room.
Yeah it's completely normal as they are not used to the new environment. It's been 1.5 years since this video and they are completely still and never do this now.
maybe you need to cut hole and put on tubes

yeah mine did this, but then they got used to their cage and theyre fine now. thik its what they do when they go into a new home

My robos also exhibited such hyperactive behavior during the first week of purchase. They seemed to settle down after a month or so.
