lol all we seem to get is those automated messages trying to promote, injury lawers or stuff about loans. its really fricking annoying. nowadays we usually just put the phone down when we hear the robot womans voice.
damn. my parents would never pay money to stop them. they prefer to just hang up. lol. it annoys them when the run for the phone and its a sales person. lool
We have a "do not call list" that keeps these folks from calling for five years then you have to sign up again. I think mine lapsed because I've been getting about three a day. Thankfully, a nice call screening phone helps that.

And I was randomly called on my cell (mobile) phone a few months ago...they asked me if I wanted free gas (petrol) or whatever (of course it was a scam sort of thing) so I just replied, "No, I'm a successful businessman and have no need for free gas." And then I hung up.
