MY 21 year old son was mugged and beaten there and I used to live there in the early 80's when Mpls was voted the safest and cleanest city in the US. Now it is the ass crack of the US. I got out of there in 97 thank God. Heights went to hell fast and all the other burbs followed. You couldnt pay me to live in that ghetto.

This WAS taken 3 -4 years ago and it was on the news......I was on the bridge and that was taken with a camera phone. They pulled a female from the river I dont know if she was murdered or if she drowned but It did happen.

I lived in Minneapolis for 31 years. I never, ever felt like I wasn't safe. No matter where I went, who I met. North, Uptown, Lake n Nicollet, Lake n Hiawatha, anywhrere.
