Take it from me, if you ever visit devils den (and you should) with children, make it your last stop. It's hard as heck to get them out of there! They love climbing on the boulders.
@Noonrider11 I went their yesterday for my 5th grade school field trip. I was on a rock with all my friends when i was kinda slipping while i was sitting i dont know what it was cause i would try to stop myself but it was really weird
"Devils Den" was a name the townspeople gave it because it is said there was a giant snake that lived under these rocks and the people called it the "Devil". I read this in a couple of different places.
@deerhunter59ify I've heard different variations of this. I've heard that but I've also heard that the towns people knowing there were snakes there told the children that is where the Devil lived to keep them away from the rocks.

Gettysburg is a place that when you visit, it really makes you think because of what happened there.
