@TheDISNEY365 They turn on the grid fountains for certain events just to have something happening in the water. Seems the most logical to me. If you notice, the Fun Wheel, Silly Swings, and Golden Zephyr were also running. Unless you already knew that and was just asking to point it out.

The Disneyland Half Marathon does book up early, so you need to go sign up now if you want to do it next year.

@MsNani27 They actually ran out of our Coast to Coast medals at first too, but apparently they had more of them located somewhere else, and we eventually picked them up at the Lost and Found tent. Why all the medals weren't in the same location, I have no idea. I thought I read you were supposed to be able to email them to have your 5K medal sent via mail. Have you done that yet? :-/

@mritty115 yea i emailed them the following day. but im pretty sure they knew the date of the race...one would think that they would have the medals ready...lol

it just kinda sucked to have finished and gotten an im sorry note instead of a medal!!

i mean its disney...they should know better!!

@huntergruntetr123 The race starts at 6am. We're lined up in the corals by about 5:15am or 5:30am, and you're "supposed" to finish within 3½ hours.

@huntergruntetr123 Yup. 16 minute per mile pace. They said they'd be sweeping people at about miles 4 (after exiting Disneyland) and 10 (after exiting Angel Stadium). If you look at the results on active.com, though, you'll see that some people finished well after 4 hours, so I don't think they were being too strict about the the pacing requirement.

@CeletialDarkness The first place finisher gets a special medal. The second place and last place finsher get the same medal. :-)
