@trakaddikt I was at this show and deadmau5 puts on a great light show. he doesnt control it, hes just pressing play....same with the music. I love his shows and his music is alright, he really isnt anything special though. everything he's done other people did along time ago. this dubstep is a perfect example...he's just trying to play to the crowd. I first heard about this guy some 5 or 6 years ago through FL Studio. He is a SELL OUT, truth be told.

@Armaros11th yeah so all the work joel puts in in the studio is just bullshit and hes not really a musician at all cause of his live show. okay, so he presses play. you know what, i'd pay 60 bucks to see him press play because he CREATED all the music hes PLAYing.

you act as if he's a DJ, like hes just playing shit people made for him, in the traditional sense of the word. i highly suggest you reassess your outlook on musicianship and on respect. maybe watching this video will help.

@skrilldawg lol you most likely haven't a clue about how he produces this music. I actually have a damn good idea of how he does it because I too am a music producer. He makes some good clean simple music but its nothing past that. he hasnt broken any barriers or defined a genre. I respect him in the sense that he has great hype and millions of die hard fans and hes achieved something through his music production that I dream of doing with my own. I don't respect how much of a whore he's become.

I heard rumors that the tour manager was having trouble getting him here on time and offered the promoters a compromise to have a tall skinny lad that was part of the lighting crew and knew some of the light controls to put on the mask and play the set that was already pre-recorded(deadmau5 fans wouldn't know the difference anyhow) .supposedly that didn't need to happen though. gotta love corporate cookie cutter money making conformist whitebread trance .
