our family just did this float yesterday from Jasper to Hasty took about 4 hours and was just great. The Kayak was really fun on this river. You do have to respect the tree tops and big snags. We had to rescue all the gear from a couple behind us who rammed a forked tree top in a swift current. It took ten minutes to dislodge the canoe from the tree in the current just pushing it under. Everyone was ok.
