A safari guide in South Africa told me that this video was faked. ~_~ That the makers of the movie actually got the animals drunk on something else. Well the wiki article on "Marula" suggests so too. If those jerks artificially got all those animals drunk, then grrrr.

Alright then, "made drunk". In more detail for those who didn't get it: I've heard claims that these animals didn't get drunk by eating natural fruits all by themselves, but that humans made them drunk. He didn't say how, but I'm guessing by putting rum into their food or drink, or by injecting it into them, whatever. And I think you'll agree that if someone makes his cat drink enough alcohol so the cat can't stand properly, that's abuse.

In South Africa, we have a cream liqueur made from marula fruit. Its called 'Amarula' (Inventive, I know) Its damn nice, but I wouldn't call it a 'potent brew' at 17%. Still, its sweet and smooth.
