The price of Gas is going up all the time. The Middle East and associated Countries.Supply us with a lot of Oil. They expect us NATO to provide a degree of security for their Countries. Yet we feel we are paying for their security. If Gas prices started to come down we all could benefit and start to Balance the books. The oil companies and the export Nations of oil need to contribute more.

@pitbul317 To save money, I have used transportation I havent used in years, or have never used. For the past 5 months, I have rode the bus, about 5 times. The subway, more than a dozen times, and took the train 2 times, and plan on using alternative transportation even more!! The only time we used the car, was to get groceries!! I think that if Americans would do the same thing, they would save even more money than they did, while driving their car when gas prices were low!!!!

@Stinkpoppa If the economies around the world are doing better, it will make it easier for them to purchase American goods. The great thing that we can see in the budget proposals, is a cut in the unnecessary spending in the defense budget. I don't agree with war, either, but I think the Afghanistan situation is a little too complicated to really know for sure. Iraq sure was a bad choice from day 1, though.
