The show displays how useless the public education system is. Think about it. They drag all these successful people on whether they are certified geniuses or rock stars, and then quiz them on all the information they didn't need to retain in order to be successful. Knowledge is supposed to be practical, stuff we can actually use to further our goals and interests. The public school system is all about redundant memorization.
