We really need to have some perspective. Infant mortality rate of less than 10, only one dead child in 3000 per year... Kids are safer than they've ever been in all history. It's a normal instinct to think your children are in danger all the time, but we all need to prioritize the threats correctly. Focusing on creating a safe and healthy home environment is a much better use of your time and energy than trying to control the outside world.

wtf dude, that is their point! that's the risk of dying just from being ALIVE in society. it makes no more sense to worry about stranger abduction than to worry about literally thousands of other things which are much more likely to kill your kid but you probably don't worry about (and wouldn't accomplish anything even if you did worry about it). did you actually watch the show?!
