Great video, could make a few more breaking them down abit more, giving some advice on what to do and what not to do when setting up or shooting for each takedown. Keep the videos commin!
Very Nice! The Realistic speed of the demonstrations and the dubed instructions are what seperate you from all the other videos. It's difficult to follow slow out- of breath instructions while asking the camera man to walk around to the other side. These vids are addictive! I can't wait to see what you upload next!
Great videos mate. Keep it up. I have to say it's funny that you have to add a disclaimer. Too many internet warriors waiting to tear shit down methinks.
this technique of fighting is a sport that makes for over 500 years in Spain and Canary Islands Canarian wrestling is called, search googlel (lucha canaria)
@chisik51 Yeah...I know a lot of the upper body stuff but it's not my personal game. I can honestly say I know most things out there but more just so I know what to defend against.
@jasculs Regardless of your preference could you add a video anyway. Infact add everything you know incl JUDO. They're so helpful to all of us out there! Thanx for the great videos

@darklord220 I wrestled for 5 years before BJJ which was 16 years ago...since then I have been wrestling and doing judo in my training. My wresting and judo are 100x better now then it was when I wrestled before BJJ.
@jasculs Awesome! How much would you say your wrestling helped your BJJ? I'm currently a blue belt in jiu jitsu but I'm going to wrestle in college (with only two years of HS wrestling). Will wrestling hurt my jiu jitsu?
also, in 3:57 spiking your feet into the mat when you sprawl is often times a bad thing. It creates an anchor point for them to continue to drive into you, straiten their back and finish the take down. a good sprawl tends to redirect motion as opposed to stop it.
(not trying to trash your videos, they are nicely done)
@jscioli83 I appreciate your feedback...I'll play around with what you are mentioning to see how I feel. I have different ways that I tend to sprawl for different situations. This was with the double unders has worked extremely well for me against many college level wreslters.
3:57 is a low percentage, strength based technique. Frequently trying to stuff a double leg with double under hooks ends up in you pulling them into you. The success of this is predicated on how well your opponent is executing a penetration step into you. If it is decent, most of the time you will be taken down. My high school wrestlers have a huge problem with thinking this works. Other than a few philosophical differences in take downs this is a good video. nice job.
I SERIOUSLY CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW AMAZING THESE VIDEOS ARE!!!! KEEP DOING THEM!!! THEY HELP SO MUCH!!! AND YES I WILL BUY YOUR BOOK AND HAVE ALREADY SUBSCRIBED!!!!!
As a Judo guy its really good for me to learn all these single and double leg attacks for open grappling contests its been a large hole in my game thanks again.
The Dropping Seoi Nage is also very good for no gi so long as you ensure they dont take your back by using your pulling hand to keep the leg from circling your back and send them over at the same time. I like the Uchi Mata entry to a Ko Ichi combination and if that doesnt work can always come back around for an O Ichi Gari, these are just things that work for my game, thanks for all the great vids im always learning things and applying them to my game where applicable. Thank You

LOVE THIS VIDEO. I THINK ITS JUST MISSING OUT ON THE UPPERBODY ATTACKS (UNDERHOOK ATTACKS). BUT MAYBE ITS JUST NOT YOUR GAME. NO DISRESPECT.
