I still barely know what an arpeggio even is. I'm pretty sure I'm on the level of this video with my scales and I'm climbing my way up with the speed, but how the sound is connected as it flows up and down is what I'm struggling with. You kinda helped me think about that idea more clearly with this vid.

well this kinda helps to know what it is my friend... the word arpeggio come from latin,,,,arpeggio meens "broken chord" ....pretty sure you know what a chord is...hopefully you do lol any way just work on the synchronization between your picking hand and your hand that goes on the frets,,,, just keep practicing at a comfortable speed,, and especcially work on cleaness and clarity for god sake..most guitarists dont even work on their clarity,,just speed,,,making for a shitty sound ,so practice!!

You need your Bridge set up then. Go online and see how to do it yourself or else pay someone. It's pretty easy, just look up the model of guitar and bridge and see what you can find out.

Hell, there may be a video on how to do it on youtube.

Yea, I just sweep these. I have a solo from my band Lidless Eye where I alternate pick the arpeggios that are composed in much the same manner you might like that? I'll post a vid sometime with them, pretty cool stuff! I have others that involve alternate picking over string skipping arps too. There are a lot of ways to play them, this is just one I like.

no because I wrote this arrangement. I could make power tabs for the first part though. If you can play that you can figure the 2nd part out. Actually it is Major, Minor, and dominant 7th patterns. But they do look the same but sound a lot different.
