I'm 14 years old. My dog keeps on coming inside because it get hot outside. (over 100 degrees) but I don't have money to but him a house. my mom has asthma and she gets really sick she needs to use a machine to help her breath. My mom don't want him because he does things my mom don't like. She wants to give him away. But I love him he saved my live from getting attacked by Another pitbull. And I need help taking care of my dog (pitbull)

@MsWanderingstar, the reason they have choke collars is because even if the dog isnt aggressive tword human's, the breed has a tendency to become randomly aggressive tword other dogs,purely to show dominance, and people. So yes the choke collar is to train them to stay calm around others, by using pain as motivation . it is alot harder and time consuming to train them any other way.

Great project and wonderful work. I'm just wondering why the dogs are all on choke chains. What is the motivation for them to work? Avoidance of pain? It would be nice to see some flat collars and front clip harnesses on the dogs and some toys and food in those guy's hands. If you present it to them like this is the dog's pay, just like we get paid to go to work, it will pass, no matter how tough those guys are.

Everyone, go on the Humane Society of the US website OR do a google search under this initiative called End Dog Fighting HSUS and you should be able to find details about the training, rallies, events are being held. I just went today to the rally at a park off of English Ave. in Atlanta organized by Ralph Hawthorne and other community organizers. They do awesome work, they really, sincerely care about the dogs AND the community. Big up to this team...

@savagewreckhead Great Idea...the majority of they public is like that. I started networking with local pit owners to start play groups. We are small but growing!!! Sad thing is where I work we train service dogs(labs and standard poodles mostly) I break up more fights in play group there than at home with my 4 pits.
