  • Thanks, I wrote tv commercials for my own ad agency, and found at first it took me a week to get a decent product. But then using the format the pro's used, writing scripts for a 30 second spot became easier and easier. And idea's sparked other idea's. Paul McCartney wrote the theme song for the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" in 24 hours. Basically the day before it was due. Though he was given 9 months or so to write it. The more you do, the easier it gets, and the creative process to flow

  • Good job, there is so much footage out there, A man with a computer and a good editing program, can do something talented like this. Maybe make everyone speak another language (made up) and then use subtitles? That wold be wicked cool. You get that exotic feel of another language, and then you can make it say whatever you want.

  • @tomdownard4179 You know, I never thought about that, but that is a really, really good idea! Perhaps I shall make use of that idea for future trailers, because, as you said, I'll get the exotic feel of another language, but the creative license to dub over it with whatever I want. Thanks for the idea! :D

  • Holy Mother of God that was Great Rora can't stop reading it by the way

  • Thanks! I didn't even know you were reading ^^

  • Wow, this is incredible. It's amazing how you took clips that didn't even have the same hue, saturation or visual theme and turned them into a cohesive piece, which was very well supported by your musical blend, which was, indeed, deft to say the least. This was art in a challengingly small time-frame. It was magic. And that's putting it lightly...

    Dude, you should go professional!

  • Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much-the comment certainly brightened up my afternoon!

  • Let's try this again...

    Bravo, bravo, brassima!

I love how you utilized a combination of different songs, you mixed them quite deftly. And the clips were great, you did a fine job of editing them!

Now, I know I had more in my first version of this comment but I can't recall anything else save for I loved watching the trailer!

  • Aww, thanks! The mixing of songs was quite fun, as was the mixing of clips. I'm quite happy, I managed to get Edward in there :D You know he's one of my faves.

  • I bet--usually I like to stick to one song because I fear the different songs melted together would ruin the effect but that's not the case with you.

Aw, really? Edward would be thrilled! ^^ But I do like him, he managed to blurry up the line of good and evil and head on over to the "grey side".

  • I don't know-I just like the effect of multiple songs. It's like they all interpret the story differently. But then again, that's just me.

I know, right? He's just a really interesting character :D

  • One of these days, I would like to try that out. Maybe in my Ace in the Hole trailer...

Yep, that's why I love writing him--hell, I like writing all of Thanatos's henchmen, even Blanca and Jacob. XD

  • You should give it a try-it actually doesn't ruin the flow at all, sometimes, I think it improves it.

I know-I enjoyed writing Alana, she was most amusing, especially during her little fits of rage. Hell, I should just write an entire book dedicated to her.

  • I do believe I shall...I'm always up for trying something different.

Hehe, I sometimes would like to write a little story of each one of my OCs, I once started on one for Egil and Edward but never got around to finishing them...

  • Awesome! Looking forward to it!

You totally should! I might do some little one-shots about my OCs and maybe put them up on FictionPress, since they're original characters. Alana and Alexsei would be fun to write stories about.

  • Heh, thanks! :D

Yeah, I probably will once I finish up the last chapter to my Naruto fanfic. I have a couple of other oneshots swirling about in my head; for instance, one about Cinaed and how he sort of copes with the loss of his family...

  • That would be interesting to read...he seems like an interesting fellow.

    Welcome! :D

  • Yeah, he'll be fun to play with. Of course, I'll have to have a Bible in hand for his all quotes. ^^

  • If you don't have a Bible handy, there's virtual Bibles all over the Internet. I used one when Carl quoted a verse of Scripture to Gabrielle in Night Warriors (although that was because I was too lazy to get up and get my Bible ^^;)

  • Yes, that was going to be my second opition if I couldn't have one at my side. I know there's one in our library so I can dig that out soon... Wouldn't be the first time I used it before for fanfic...^^

  • Lemme guess...used it in Son of the Devil, Meet the Daughter of Your Enemy?

Were we neighbors, I would lend you mine-although I do still need it for my summer assignment...Plus it's NIV, and I think someone like Cinaed would use King James or New King James...

  • Actually, no. I used one section talking aobut love for "Wild Justice" because at the time I was writing the chapter, I no clue how to describe love (because I never fell in love before) and wanted to do it sufficently. I had heard that the Bible had one good section about love so I brought that up and whalaa--all my troubles were solved!

It's okay, I know we have one in my house. I just have a walk like a couple feet, look at the bookshelves and there it is.

  • Good point-I've never been in love either, so I've no idea if my descriptions are accurate.

    That's good :D

  • Yeah, I was asking my mom for help and hitting all my romance novels for "research" so I could get a better grasp of the concept.

Heh, I found the said Bible and realize I left my Orolando Bloom bookmark in it. I said, "So that's where my Orolando bookmarker went..." XD

  • Romance novels. Good place to start. :D I refer to them sometimes for kissing scenes and the like (or to fanfics, particularly if Dr. Lust or Remember wrote them. Those two know romance!)

Oooh, Orlando Bloom bookmarker. Very nice :D I know I have a Sesshomaru bookmark around here somewhere that I meant to give to Kitty ages ago...

  • Yep, Teresa Medeiros certainly has helped me out...that woman always makes me laugh just as much as Kinley MacGregor (and you're right, Dr. Lust is a great writer on love!).

Heh, the Orly bookmarker is very fine--also a nice pic of what Hieron would look like... ^^

  • Awesome! Definately will get some of her books when I have more cash. And indeed, she is-not to mention she's really nice. My first Fanfiction friend :D

    And Adrian, too! :D

  • Whoa, she has some books out? Did know that...

Yes, she seems to be a very nice person, I noticed. Wish I had came across her sooner rather than later... ^^

And of course, Adrain! Can't forget him!

  • Who, Dr. Lust? Oh, no, she doesn't have any books out-she says she doesn't want to be an author. I was refering to Theresa Medeiros in the first sentence or two...^^;

Nope! One of the two twins of Thanatos-ness!

  • *facepalm* So sorry about that! Yeah, Teresa Medeiros does have some great books, I recently got another one of hers...couldn't resist. :D

Hehe, of course! And don't forgot to add 'sexy'! XD

  • Sweet! What did you get?

Oh, how could I have forgotten?!

  • "The Vampire Who Loved Me". It's a sister fic of After Midnight. It follows the story of Portia, the youngest of the sisters and Julian Kane, the younger brother of Adrain Kane.

It's all right, happens all the time. I'm sure Adrain will forgive you. ;D

  • Oooh, sounds good! I'll have to read these books...

    Adrian, do you forgive me?

    Adrian: Yeah, sure, whatever.

    Atta boy.

  • After Midnight is good and I'm betting so is The Vampire Who Loved Me. And Breath of Magic is cracking me up big time. I'm noticing a lot of simalirities between Categil and Tristan/Arian...

Lucky for you he's so forgiving. Danica sure isn't.

Danica: I have every right to be!

  • Awesome! I love similarites like that :D

It's not necessarily that Adrian's so forgiving, it's mostly that he doesn't care.

    Adrian: Eh, sounds about right.

  • It's real good--you'll love the Breath of Magic. Tristan and Egil not only act alike but they also look alike: blonde hair, grey eyes, emotionless, etc.

Danica: Just wait when they decide to put you through Hell.

    Bitter, aren't you, Danica?

    Danica: Bitter and cynical.

  • Really? No way!

Adrian: Well, I'll be here and waiting. I've already been through Hell, it can't get much worse...can it?

    Oh, yes, it can.

    Adrian: ...Damn.

  • Dead serious and Arian is brunette although I can't remember her eye color but I think it's brown...let me go double-check...

    Danica: Told you so.

    That's enough out of you.

    Danica: *rolls eyes*

  • If her eye color turns out to be blue, I'm gonna laugh my ass off.

Adrian: Well, if it gets any worse, I'm screwed.

    Yes, you are.

Adrian: Thanks for your kind words.

    Welcome!

  • I checked and it's brown. Close (at least she fits the bill for Amy Acker! ;D), in a way...

Arkadi: Heh, don't worry so much. We can take whatever they dish out at us.

    Cocky, aren't we, Arkadi?

Arkadi: Well, we are our parents' sons.

Yes, you two most certainly are.

  • Eh, brown, blue, close enough. They both start with b XD That's hilarious that they're so similar in looks and Tristan and Egil have the same hair/eye color.

Adrian: *smiles* He's got a point-we're our parents' sons.

Holy crap on a cracker, he's smiling! Stop the presses! Call the news crew! Film at eleven!

    Adrian: Shut up.

  • And what's even more funny their daughter Tabitha (haha, I forgot to mention Arian's a witch so when they have their daughter--who is also a witch--Arian names it Tabitha because it's a good Purtian name while Tristan justs nods with a little devilish twinkle in his eye...) looks exactly like her father, Tristan, and the same goes with Danica. It's so funny how it all works out...

*grabs a camera and starts snapping away* Mwuhaha! We now have pictures of that smile!

  • Oh, that's hilarious! And now, I really want to read this book...what is it called again?

Adrian: *glowers* Do you know how annoying you two are?

    Yeah, we have some idea...

  • The one with Tristan and Arian is called "Breath of Magic" and the sequel is about their daughter Tabitha's journey into the past is called "Touch of Enchantment". The beginning of "Touch of Enchantment" sparked my idea for Egil to say "Please don't tell me it was Chasity!" when Catherine told him Catherine wasn't really her real name...that scene in the book is hilarious. XD

We get it all the time.

  • Okay, now I definately have to read it! I loved that, it was genius!

Adrian: There's probably a reason for that.

    And we're supposed to care?

  • You'll love both books, there's always are hilarious moments in that book. I honestly enjoy reading every novel of Medeiros, she certainly knows how to write and create strong, memorable characters.

    What Rora said. *smirks*

  • Sweet! All I need now is some cash so I can get the books...

    Adrian: Of course.

  • Yeah, it's shame we don't leave nearby because I could always lend you the books for your entertainment...

    What? You know it's true.

  • I know, it would be great if we lived nearby! The world would not be safe! *cackles and rubs hands together*

    Adrian: Unfortunately.

  • *grins evilly* Definitely, I one time told my mom if she got a job that required her to move near Wasthington DC, I wouldn't mind so much because at least I'll know two people there: you and vamp. XD

    Thata boy!

  • Indeed-if that were to happen, we might have to meet up and wreck havoc XD

    Adrian: *scowls*

  • I'm all game with that! :D

Let's turn that frown upside down! XD

  • Haha sweet!

Adrian: *blinks* Did you just seriously say that?

  • Yes, I did. Adrian. Don't make me follow through with my words... ^^

  • Adrian: I'd rather you didn't.

  • Then we understand each other. *looks at phots of him smiling* I'll be selling these on the rpg's ebay... *grins impishly*

  • Ooooh, boy. They'll be snatched right up by the fangirls.

    Adrian: ...the what?

  • Arkadi: *swings one arm Adrian* Fan-girls. Better get use to them, Adrian, because we'll be dealing with plenty of the in the near future.

I definitely don't doubt that remark.

  • Adrian: *sarcastically* Oh, joy.

  • Arkadi: *smirks* Liven up, will you? I'm sure we could disarm them with our natural charms...

Oh Arkadi...ever the lady's man. *shakes head*

  • Adrian: Natural charms? I have natural charms?

    Duh, Adrian.

  • Just look at your father, Adrian. That's all we need to say on the matter.

  • Adrian: Eh, true...

  • So, like we told him, be prepared to get a lot of fangirls!

  • Adrian: I'm going to get a shield and an unlisted phone number now...

  • Like that will stop them...

  • Adrian: I don't care, it makes me feel better.

  • Whatever you say, Adrian. They will find you sooner or later.

  • Adrian: As I said, it makes me feel better.

  • Thanatos: And you'll learn to live with it, eventually.

    Wise words, Thannie.

  • Adrian: *sarcastically* Great...

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing video, and now I have to read your story. I after all provided you with the title. *goes to finally print*

  • Why, yes you did! :D And Night Warriors, too, come to think of it.

    Glad you liked!
