ok i know they're angry at each other and all...but the convo they have on the couch at school in the beginning is way cute. it's totally like a couple bickering over something silly. george really knows how to get callum upset! which only means that callum must really care for him. and lol@ him watchin george storm off and not even paying attention to maddie when she first arrives. i feel like there are too many signs here for this not to develop into something moooree

I love open dialogues. Hollyoaks' writers must be doing their jobs right to have all of us conversing about the exciting possibilities of where this story could go. I just hope George ends up happy... (with Callum lol) :-)

@jinx5005 They are downplaying Ste and Bren so much that it hardly feels like they are gay. I like Callum and; while I prefer they not go down the road of putting them together romantically unless they are going to commit to the storyline, I enjoy their screen time together.

@Spherical07 .are you serious,no two charcaters have been writen more sexual than brendan and ste and even the straight couples.in the last weeks alone we saw brendan kiss a guy at the bar and take him home in one ep and then brendan nwith adifferent guy in an hotel not to mention not even two months before he was with ste ,so in short in three months he as been shown being intimate with three diff guys,tell me any other soap gay character that get that much action.

@anyusa0030 While you are correct, I don't like watching stories with gay men having promiscuous sex. Yes it happens in real life, but they are also capable of having actual relationships. I just don't like the direction they have gone, which seems to be straight over a cliff.

@Spherical07 .i dont think a raletively young man pulling two guys after a break up of what was a big deal relationship for him amount to being promiscuous.what i dont like is the imposible standad gay characters are held upto by fans, the show is dam if they do dam if they dont,if they write the like straight couples who get together break up sometimes cheat on each other get back together then you are destryoing the the gay character ,so we want them treated same just not same.

@Spherical07 .(2)take jaki asuming you watch the show ,i loved her with toni but i love even more wiyh rhye ,which could never have happened had her and toni fell apart,but between rhye and toni she went out with danni and brendan it did not make her a slut,single people go out and hook up sometimes,sraight or gay its normal.if we really want gay charcaters to be treated equal we have to mean that ,this is a soap soapy sl and actions are fan.

@anyusa0030 I also have a problem with sleeping around between hetero couples, but I don't watch for them, so that's why I didn't mention them. Gay couples are hard to find here in the States, so I watch the soaps overseas. I still disagree with you, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

@persephonespearls Not necessarily. Anthony covers LGBT storylines, even if only one character is LGBT. Look at Aaron, for one. And the transgender kid (don't remember the name right now), too.

However, there is a "vibe" between George and Callum you don't usually see, so I'll wait and see how this one turns out. God knows it has been ages since we've had a decent gay storyline...

Also, I agree with chryslerv: Callum looks just like Brendan with the mustache...

@oanunkor I don't think anyone knows at this point. They are kind of playing it neutral and nothing has been said about Callum being gay. A lot of things could be taken as there's something there, or they could just wind up being really good friends. I would like to see them get together because I think they have good chemistry, so I'm gonna keep watching to see how it turns out.

Oh, Hollyoaks, if you really are going to create something romantic between George and Callum, do take your sweet, slow soapy time and build this up. I am enjoying this teasing greatly. George is so sweetly delicate...and Callum is so steady and, well, gorgeous. He needs to make it up to Maddie, though. She is getting suspicious too soon and it will ruin this wonderful tension!

@nevgar, theory is that his parents did not accept George for being gay and they kicked him out. This is an interesting storyline. Many times the shows will display someone coming out and the parents not kicking them out and working through the issues. Luke with Lily and Holden. Bianca with Erica. Eventually Will with Sami. Then you have the case of Chris with his parents on Neighbours. Chris had to live with Summer for a period of time. Whether or not this us the reason Geo
