Good way to injure yourself man, your form is pathetic. I suggest you get some proper Oly lifting coaching instead of just pretending. Quickest way to do that is to start doing Crossfit, learn what you need to about lifting PROPERLY then go back to lifting heavier. Because that wasn't a deadlift, it's a bulging disc waiting to happen. I might seem rude right now, but honestly mate, don't injure yourself and undo all your hard work. Lighten the load, (I'd say halve it) and do it properly.

He said he did not know what a deadlift was. I said "Thanks, that's all I need to know" walked out and got a membership at a real gym.

@FREESTYLER130580 starting with the lift at an inch above the floor is not a true dead. dont get me wrong, I encourage working different heights. but when its time to pull from the floor then it should be from the floor.
staying in a croutching position spends energy. it could make the difference between making a lift and missing.
start w/ your feet at a little less than shoulder with apart and grasp w/ hand slightly outside leg. search:

Good way to injure yourself man, your form is pathetic. I suggest you get some proper Oly lifting coaching instead of just pretending. Quickest way to do that is to start doing Crossfit, learn what you need to about lifting PROPERLY then go back to lifting heavier. Because that wasn't a deadlift, it's a bulging disc waiting to happen. I might seem rude right now, but honestly mate, don't injure yourself and undo all your hard work. Lighten the load, (I'd say halve it) and do it properly.

I have worked out there a few times just because my friend can get me in for free. I mean i understand were the PF people are coming from because they want to make a atmosphere for people that are timid of regular gyms and are trying get back in to shape. I mean really i wouldnt pay money to be there and i definitely wouldn't be there to train if i was a serious athlete.

I looked into getting a planet fitness membership once. They were offering memberships at something like $20 a month. I went in and a planet fitness employee showed me around and told me about the no noise policy, I asked him if there was a place where I could do deadlifts. He said he did not know what a deadlift was. I said "Thanks, that's all I need to know" walked out and got a membership at a real gym.

Judgement free zone my ass, they judge actual lifters and people who train hard! Oops, can't make any noise during a lift, or drop a damn weight. No wonder they only charge $10 a month. At my gym, we use chalk, chains, deadlift off a platform and drop the weight. We also grunt and make noise. And we get fuckin strong too.
