Tolkien is a master of literature, he created a world, languages, in depth plots, monsters and more - Myer just stole off Dracula and made it appeal to the pop culture audience. And to just finish it off Twilight will be forgotten of in the next 5 years where as lord of the rings still remains after 60 years and will still be loved for generations to come.

LOTR is amazing, and Tolkein is easily one of the most masterful of all authors, not only creating a new world, but races with languages and histories and everything.
