Definitely. This lesson is just a guideline - you should experiment with other strumming patterns and even chords if you like. The important thing is that it sounds and feels good to you (and maybe others, if you have an audience).

I don't understand the chorus what are the chorus' chords?

The chords for the chorus are: C, G, D and E minor.

Although we've used slight variations on those chords to make it a little easier to play - check the beginning of the video for the finger placements.

We've posted a lesson on right hand exercises and strumming techniques, but I don't seem to be able to past a link to it here. Have a look through our lessons list to find it.

It's not that important to get the strumming pattern exactly as shown. Try to experiment and find a rhythm you're comfortable with. Keep playing!
