Yeah, you should. Pitt Band has a very piston style method of marking time. It derives from the very mechanic and strict style from old Big 10 schools, but updated to a low step for the halftime shows.

Thats the exact opposite of what my schools band needs. We have 12 trumpets and about 8 play on a good day. Our percussion is so loud that a judge actually made 12 comments on it in one tape. Our drumline is too big.
