Airsoft being more expensive than Paintball? I don't think so. With airsoft, beginners have a wider selection of economical guns than in paintball. Not only that, but batteries used for your airsoft are usually rechargeable. I can get 4000 pellets for airsoft for 10 bucks, while I can only get 2000 paintballs for 4 times the price.

From my experience, it's typical for airsoft guns to have rechargeable batteries. Few people that I played with have non-rechargeable batteries. Good rechargeable batteries are generally more expensive than a non-rechargeable, but they will last you a heck of a lot longer.

I thought it was common knowledge. It's cheaper to play (again, PLAY) airsoft than it is to play paintball. With gear aside, you're spending more money per round with a paintball marker on the long run than the cost of a non-rechargeable airsoft battery and airsoft ammo combined. Besides, airsoft guns are usually equipped with rechargeable batteries.

@Unholyythunder buy one lipo with a high mAh capacity and you wouldnt have to change the battery in 2 games. But you charge it after games so you never have to worry about gas or batteries. You charge it for free. then you can have your gun shooting 25 rounds per second with 1 upgrade and you can spray thousands of bbs per game becasue you wont have to worry about ammo costs, bbs are less than half a cent each, sometimes less than a quarter of a cent.

@deathdealer312 Well there's exceptions to every stereotype, but most of the airsoft videos i see are 13 year olds showing their brand new milsim loadouts that their parents bought for them and then I see they quit a month or two later :/ And the number 1 reason people say airsoft is better than paintball is the price of ammo, which isn't true because only field paint is the really expensive kind since it's top quality. there's still reball which is reusable ammo and cheaper paints.

But in speedball,there's usually around 5 players on your team, so it's alot easier to get mad at a certain person and single him out. Plus, speedballs guns are usually douchey looking, so it attracts that crowd.

It has alot more. The guns are inaccurate simply because the ball drops so much. I have a Red Dot sight on my gun comepletely sighted in. You just have to know how the guns work and where they are shooting. Plus the bullets actually explode when they hit so you can better see if someone's cheating or not (like in airsoft you cannot tell if they got hit or not.)
