loved this building when i was a kid...early 70's...at christmas.

Wouldn't it be hard to get furniture for such a building; two-sided furniture would probably neither be coming in many varied colours.

the building is pretty but the neighborhood it displaced actually was alive. this building is only good from a distance, there is even a moat around it. hartford would be a much better city without this building and with the old east side.
