Lab Beagle Mix

I have a lab/beagle mix named Sadie that I adopted from a rescue organization. She's the sweetest dog in the world, but has none of the lab tendencies. No tennis ball OCD, Doesn't jump in any pond she sees and wouldn't fetch a stick on a bet. But she's mine and I love her. Oh, and in the summer she sheds like crazy,

hey, i've been having some trouble looking up info on the beagle/lab mix .. I was wondering if you be able to tell me how the shedding is? I have allergies and certain dogs affect me, i'm thinking it's the shedding.

He sheds a little in the summer, but it is not that bad.

@funsized I have a Lab Beagle and he is about 9 months old and about 20lbs. He is the best damn dog ever and everyone loves him / he loves everyone too. So friendly to everyone including small children and soooo smart too. He does however shed like crazy so beware of that. He is sooooo soft and his hair looks like it is very short but for some reason, after you are done playing with him, you are covered in his white dog hair.

I love my dog. He is a little stinker sometimes though. I call him the "Escape Artist" because he is always getting free out of my backyard. I have a 6 foot fence and he can jump it when he really wants to.

Yes!!! They are very loving and sweet dogs. My Dawson is one of the best dogs I have ever owned.

labradoodles are pretty good mix of freindly and smart :) i have one and hes a big dog but hes such a softie its so funny! he still thinks hes small enough to go on your lap! thanks for the vid btw:)

Late response here. I know a lady with a labradoodle and it is the nicest and friendliest dog. I bet you bet you have a great time with that dog. You are pretty lucky to have one. They are somewhat hard to get in Idaho.

Sorry late response. Yes, he sheds a so-so amount. Of course, more in the summertime. But we brush them every time before they come in the house (they love it). He has the softest fur though. He looooves taking baths, so does my mastiff. But something kind of sad is that he is part lab and cannot swim.

You are soo right, Lab/Beagle mixes are the best. He is the one of thee best dogs I have ever owned. I would love to have another one just like him. I have to tell you, when we went to the pound to adopt, there were quite a lot of people there, and every time someone would walk by his kennel he would back up to the back of it, and when our family walked by, he ran up to the front wagging his tail. So, needless to say, he picked us, and I am soo glad he did.
