The booking clerk at 0.22 is definitely Ruth Goodman from the Victorian Farm, Victorian Pharmacy and Edwardian Farm programmes on BBC2. I get the impression that most of the staff and public in this program are actors.
@TwoEPB I know that some of them was real BR staff as i remember seeing some of them at Waterloo and the man at the start of part 1 did work at Motspur Park station.
Things are different now days. You can book tickets on line, which I do now day. I travel further by train now days, then twenty years ago. Less staff at small train station, which have been replace by ticket barriers. One think has not change is London (Liverpool Street) to Southend (Victoria) line still have class 321.
@Darran1969 yes it's funny how you don't really notice things changing, until you look back at how it was 23 years ago! Looking at this, I can't believe how much things have changed. And not all for the better. As you say, there never seems to be any staff around anymore - customer help points left unmanned, ticket offices closed, the emphasis is on keeping the flow going no matter what. A different world!
You wouldn't be allowed to man handle drunks now! lol
