I remember I wanted to be a marine when I was this age. I felt like a big strong man that could handle anything. Now that I'm much older I see this and realize this is a bunch of boys. I admire their spirit but I'm a bit ashamed of us adults - the policy makers, the parents, the overseers of our children for sending these young men (truly boys) into battle.
To me this is like a high school football team picture. They should be about to take the field on Friday night. Again, I admire them.
