knowing what a crazy machine a CTS-V wagon is already in regular form (if one can call it regular) this D3 package truly must be above and beyond total madness, it is unbelievable how that things just pulls and pulls and pulls away from the "regular" one and has several car lengths on it as it shoots through the finish line. there is a clip on here that shows a CTS-V wagon (stock) beating a Ferrari California in a drag race. i recommend that one too. greetings.

JHM's 2004 Audi S4 (340 hp stock) with their Vortech Supercharger (making 430 whp/375 whp) ran 11.9 @ 117 mph earlier this year. I'd expect the Cadillac to slaughter that Audi, but really it's a dead heat at the quarter mile with the Cadillac having an MPH advantage.

Just seems odd...even 121 mph doesn't seem that impressive for 600+whp.

But, indulging your fantasy, even if there was an SRT-8 AWD, with 425hp/420ftlbs, the SRT-8 runs a low 13, so unless the PROFESSIONAL (foreshadowing) driver that ran that test was as retarded as you and allowed the tires to spin at the line for OVER a full second, then having AWD wouldn't really make much of a difference now, would it.

You first say D3 claims its 675hp/675tq, but then go on to say it has 629hp/659tq. You said it in a way that makes it sound like its MORE than they claim, but the numbers are lower. Did you mean 729 and 759?

Horsepower and torque is lost through the drive train. People typically estimate about 15% is lost. Once you convert the rwhp and rwtq numbers to account for this, you get about 740 hp and 775 tq. Even if the drivetrain is quite efficient in this car, 10% loss for example, its still putting out about 700hp and 730tq.
