  • I love the fact that they stop talking once the Bear walks in.

  • I think they made the bear feel awkward and unwelcome, he just wanted to chat.

  • HE'S GONNA EAT ME!!!!

Just remember you don't have to outrun the bear, you just have to be faster than the sound guy.

  • @RetSquid o h m y good...ohhhhh man... hahahahah

  • only standing

  • This would never have happened if they all had guns.

  • @tropdars You mean there never would have been a peaceful resolution in which no one and nothing got hurt?

  • @Conjure42 No, I mean there would never be a resolution in which someone didn't walk away with a sweet new throw rug.

  • @tropdars how retarded are you? what would "never have happened"? all that happened was they got some good footage. what would have been the point in shooting the bear? if it wasn't for incest you would never have happened.

  • @mintyvision Lol.

  • @tropdars are you dumb?

  • I would have peed myself.

  • "Okey guys, lets do this! Ruuuuuuuuunnn!"

  • Who thought he was going to freak out, make funny noises as he scarpers away and falls?

  • the narrator: ok.. um.. nobody move.. <-- right there i would have legged it!

  • Hmm.. somehow I was expecting more. I mean.. you could at least get bear-attacked a little bit or something.

    Stiff upper lip, pip pip!

  • What an experience that must have been!

  • I would just run away screaming and go "AAAAAARGH! Bear!" or maybe play dead... I dont know which is safer??? :(

  • @christhecoolboy

Are you serious? You think they get scared when you make noise and run away? If you run from predators, many of them will automatically chase you, because when you run, it seems likely you KNOW you're the weaker one. Bears may look slow, but they can run faster than us, so running would be rather stupid anyway. I think running is the very last resort, but first always try to stay quiet+still and don't look em straight in the eyes. That's what I've learned :)

  • @SinisterSkip

Hopefully the next bear you met has learned the same. ;-) No, seriously, I would not stop talking to the bear and thus boring him to death... :-P

  • @SinisterSkip I would probably play dead, I was joking about running, I know what it would do, make it think I am running away and chase... Maybe I should give it a pot of honey... LOL!!! like Pooh!!! :D

  • @christhecoolboy

Carry a pot of honey when in bear territory hehe, we'll keep that one in the mix :)

  • Wow that must of been awesome

  • Oh, please! If it is not known to all, so-called wildlife shows stage these sort of events to make the show more exciting. Sadly, animals are intentionally put in danger in order for camermen to get the 'shot' -- especially those prey scenes where the animal is taken down by his predator.

  • @CDLver how does the cameraman affect prey getting eaten or not exactly ? i thought they did not interfere.

  • @quosmo1, As far back as the 70s, the host of "Wild Kingdom," Marlin Perkins, was baiting animals into combat and filming tame animals deposited into the wild for prey shots.

Wild animals are just that -- wild. They do not want to be seen and certainly do not behave as they naturally would around humans. In order to get that money shot, filmmakers rent exotic animals from these horrid game farms.

  • @CDLver wow i never knew that, ill have to look it up : sounds gruesome and horrid : no wonder its good entertainment! ewww

  • @CDLver YEs in the past these techniques were common but now they are frowned upon and are incredibly rare. Companies like the BBC and National geographic Have clean records now an operate under high standards of animal welfare. Mr Baker here is a true animal lover, check out his homemade videos!

  • @CDLver

    Oh the conspiracy theories :)

  • "Shooting in the Wild: An Insider's Account of Making Movies in the Animal Kingdom."

Chris Palmer, a wildlife filmmaker for 3 decades, exposes how TAME animals from inhumane game farms, where purpose-bred animals acclimated to humans spend their entire lives in despicable conditions inside cages, are intentionally placed in manipulating situations for so-called wildlife documentaries.

No conspiracy here, just the facts.

  • just play dead

  • I would like to say how brave those guys were......except for the fact that you could see they were thinking about who was the slowest amongst them.

  • OMG!!! I would have shit blue lights! ;)

  • Now, quickly back to motel for underwear change.

  • Someone get that bear off the set!

  • geez that must have been frightening as hell!
