Even Ron Paul has admitted that he hasn't been right all along, but he is honest and that is key! And I believe Ron Paul is more right than ever... About the economy,, about the monetary issue, about the foreign policy, about war on drugs and about what the role of government should be.
If Ron Paul got elected the economy would probably go down fast for about 2 years... Then it would probably start to actually rebound. If Obama gets elected or any GOP candidate gets elected things will remain relativity steady for a few years and then totally tank into the abyss. We have a choice.. We can confront our problems now, fix them, and live within our means... or we can just collapse as a nation through a dollar crisis. Tough times don't last, tough people do. Ron is a tough guy.
We came to the 'American Nightmare' by way of BOTH parties over the decades. Nothing will be solved until we all get involved and educated outside of the controlled mass media.

If Ron Paul does run, every Democrat should register Republican just to vote for him. If he wins, the GOP establishment will be denied a voice, and FOX news will be so screwed come election time since they'll have no one to root for.
I have been following Dylan Ratigan since he first came on CNBC. I have always thought he was pretty smart and fair. Now that I heard his compliments about Dr. Paul, I like him even more and KNOW he's smart. I love Dr. Paul b/c he knows economics, he stands up for the constitution, and he can't be bought like all the other cronies in Washington. Wake up America.
Yeah, Ratigan is what they call a "blue dog democrat" meaning he's fiscally conservative. Of course I only hear him speak about financial topics, he could very well be a Libertarian or old school Republican.
If Ron instead of Rand runs (I think Rand should run since he doesn't have to campaign for his congressional seat like Ron does because he's a senator), he should wait until he has the nomination to announce Ventura I think.
The revolution begins. We didn't get Goldwater in office and we've been paying for it ever since. This time we won't fail... when Ron Paul is being sworn in at the US Capitol, I will be right there in the front of the lawn in DC.
EdwardP88 you don't know if it will be a disaster or not having a libertarian in office, I am getting to think we would be a lot better off with a libertarian in office than another war pig in office
OPEN YOUR EARS PEOPLE listen to what Dylan "kiss ass" Radigan said "I dont know if your answers are right but you frame them the right way" obviously he FRAMES them that way in a complex manner so people who don't know what you're talking about will trust what you are saying is right. If you get a strict Conservative Libertarian in the White House it will be a disaster! So you all can cheer Ron Paul all you want I'd admit he is a smart and honest Republican but his policies will not do well for
As a proud liberal Dr. Paul is the only Republican I could ever vote for. He is principled and speaks truth...unlike the vast majority of other politicians.
But if you want to build a huge Empire and have endless economic growth and have the largest number of billionaires on the planet - then you have to work over 40 hours a week, all the time. And if you don't work those hours, then you're in danger of going bankrupt.
Americans could very easily feed themselves and clothe themselves and have a place to live - working maybe 100 days a year. It's really a rich country in terms of resources, there's really no reason to work more than maybe a third of your time...
"Planned Parenthood" is basically government funded abortion. It says a lot about the Democrats that they always hot button emotional issues like that instead of really dealing with the real problems. That way, they can demonize people like Dr. Paul who want to cut spending in general, and claim some phony moral high ground. It's really appalling. The conservatives are just as bad in a different way. US political system is a joke now.
@pretorious700 Repubs inserted the 'hot button emotional issue' of abortion. Rather than focus on trillions, like war spending, they cut 'PP' to save... millions. Abortion is legal and the law. We, as taxpayers, can't pick-and-choose what our taxes go to. Can I pass legislation to stop funding unConstitutional wars? Nope.
Good ol' conservatives exemptions: "We don't like abortion, so no funding! We don't like gays, so let states refuse to recognize gay marriages from other states." Hypocrisy!

@akpoker21 So, you never watch MSNBC? As a Ron Paul 2008 supporter, I know first hand that he got more respect, airtime, and agreement from MSNBC hosts then he ever did with Fox. Remember, in 2008, Fox excluded Ron Paul from debates, and when they did let him on... they asked him conspiracy questions, was mocked as not being a true Republican, and had his supporters painted as druggies, prostitutes, criminals, and cheaters. Ron Paul got the 'Obama treatment' -- from his own side.

If we did this county would be very different. Much more wealthy. FREE BERNARD VON NOTHAUS!!!! ALSO POST RON PAUL VIDEOS ALL OVER YOUR FACEBOOK. SHOW EVERYONE WHY HE IS OUR BEST OPTION!
The absolute best way the American people can send Ron Paul a message letting him know they are ready to tackle the responsibility of saving our nation is to send his PAC money and lots of it. Send every extra penny you can dig up. Send it now. He needs massive amounts of money to fight the corporate interests. Remember there are 315 million of us. Can you only imagine if we all sent $5 for each member of our families. LibertyPac google it.
Had the majority of the American people supported Ron Paul in 2008 we wouldn't be in this mess today! I hope Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura will run in 2012.
Being a real conservative is not a swear word as in some peoples 'misguided eyes', but a function of wisdom, and the realisation that honesty really works; and basically a fundamental of any successful civilisation or relationship, from any perspective.
Ron Paul may not fit the broken structure that is our system in its current state, but it's nice to see a conservative that's an actual conservative. Everything from the military to medicine, the man speaks his real mind.
He makes a lot of sense, is this a sin/ or not 'politically correct'? Or have we lost any ability to keep issues simple, and basically honest. Remember politicians are essentially our servants, they are nothing special at all, they have a job, with their primary job to improve the lot of us all, and not the special interest/lobby groups. If they deviate from their primary function, they are essentially corrupt! and not fufilling their function. Time to get back to basics!
@sberwin15 Well said. Thank you for your sacrifices. By voting for Ron Paul; by voting for any candidate not in the two party racket -- all US Citizens can demand a return to the US Constitution.

The FRB of NY received $8.4 trillion last year from the auction of Treasury securities---OFF OF THE BOOKS--without any mention in the ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS or to the public ! The Ponzi scheme Fed confiscated inflict perpetual indebtedness on society and confiscate the wealth of the people while impelling the nation to national bankruptcy. Its embezzlement ! The mathematical inevitability is at RIP OFF BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE or 3W scribd dot com, message 48194264
fuck the CIA, Get out of Vietnam, fire my vice president. Talk about balls. When they murdered Jack The country was in tears. He was ready to straighten out every thing. He even backed the Ruskys the hell out of Cuba. There is one guy with balls that is willing to run for office. Your gonna laugh and the laugh will be on you if you don't elect a guy like Trump. If a bullshiit actor can be president for 8 years why not a successful businessman who doesn't have to kiss the ass?
@ECmama1 The country is bankrupt because of the FED and the ponzi scheme known as fractional reserve lending in which the Taxpayer, that's you, pays 900% interest to have the fed create our money. Amazing how many Americans don't understand how the Fed has been robbing us for the past 100 years. Not one Politician since Kennedy has tried to get rid of the banksters, and you think RP will stand up when the Bankers put the gun to his head. And that's exactly what they do when they can't buy you
@ECmama1 Yeah. He's a bankruptcy expert. Which is exactly what we need. Don't get me wrong I love Ron Paul but the fact is that he will fold when his feet are to the fire. He talks a great game but will he sign the executive order that can end the Federal Reserve? I don't think so. On the other hand Trump knows what has to be done and has the guts to do it. We are bankrupt, out of credit, ready for foreclosure. Do you think that a Washington politician is going to get us out of this mess?
@zinger1010 Are you joking man, Ron Paul has said the same things for the last 30 years and you think a money hungry, ruthless and arrogant businessman like trump will get rid of the federal reserve...do us all a favor, dont vote at all.
@vincentca2004 Thank you for illustrating my point. Yes Ron Paul has been saying.....Ron Paul is not doing, just saying. Hello, duh. Libertarians talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Wall St and the Banksters know this well. Which is probably why the man is alive today. If not for the Fed, every American would have a yacht and his own airplane. America would have been way ahead of the rest of the world. Those of you sitting around bickering all of this , have no clue, no life, and no job
@zinger1010 Trump is all about self-profit, and isn't concerned with people ruined by his business practices. Come on, his CASINO went bankrupt -- and the House always wins! Without daddy's money and business, there'd be no Donald.
Our nation is sorely missing leaders with integrity -- people who can be trusted to do the right thing because it's right, even if no one is looking. Trump boasts about lying straight to someone's face and 'screwing' them over. We've got plenty of that already.
@zinger1010 Think about what you just said, how the hell do you think he got rich? by fucking alot of people and if you make him your leader you will get the fucking.
If Ron Paul does not run, Rand Paul will. Keep your eyes on him.
Rand Paul has a set of very sharp elbows, as his opponents found out to their sorrow. Rand Paul's Democrat opponent got down in the mud and got a beating he never expected and will never forget.
If Ron Paul runs again, there will be a great and TRUE grass-roots movement to support him the likes of which no other generation in this country has ever seen. Just to have him in the debates against the neo-cons would be epic. RON PAUL 2012!
We need to spread the message REALLY REALLY bad. We need to be like cicadas and march in alot of streets to actually make the people wake up. This time we need to be loud and have intensity. If this does not happen, the results will be the similar to 2008.
At the hands of indifference we've become a byproduct of afflicted servitude, impelled gladiator’s that must sacrifice for equilibrium and freedoms - expurgating those that the propaganda of indifference tells us are aberrant; ultimately aiding and then aligning ourselves with the doctrine of and for Supremacy. * Those who wish to separate us ...wish to rule over us.
At least there is one sane and informed individual, in the U.S. Congress. I hope Ron Paul, runs for POTUS. As our criminal, lap dog government here in Australia, follows the bought off U.S. government, maybe with Dr. Paul at the helm, it won't be a lemming run.
Obama and the Social Democrats should have had a budget passed last Oct. but they were too busy back then too destroying the American Health Care industry, we need a grown up in the Whitehouse. They are fighting over 10 billion dollars. The country borrows 4 billion a day, this is what democrats offer, at least the republican’s offer a path to prosperity, the proposal would cut $6.2 trillion in spending over the next decade, and trillions more down the line.
lol look at Ratigan trying to get Ron to run. but seriously Ron please run save us from ignorant puppet presidents cause if you dont i'm moving to Canada.
Thank you Dylan Ratigan for giving Ron Paul a fair, honest and respectful interview. I'm sick of FOX news and neo-con propagandists, like Mark Levin, who attack him with intellectually dishonest arguments.
@Kurt2012007 Right. Glenn Beck, Judge Napolatono, John Stossel, Neil Cavuto, all the Liberals like Juan Williams, Bob Beckle, President Carter's Senior Advisor, and Sheppard Smith are "neo-cons." Sure.
I've seen Ratigan in the past and have thought him to be quite reasonable. But I never knew quite how smart he is until I saw this. Thank you very much Sir for you rousing endorsement. Dylan Ratigan is my new favorite MSNBC host.
@BobGeorgeAU He seemed like a nice guy actually certainly compared to the other douches that are on the mass media networks, now I'm wondering how long he'll last.
@esopxe No, no, no. If he does that he's GUARANTEED not to be in the debates and will have an extremely hard time getting his message out. He's very effective running as a republican.
@esopxe No, I want him to win. To win he has to go for the Republican nomination. But I agree, if he doesn't get on the ticket he should run as an independent or Libertarian.
thats a horrible idea the minute he puts Independent the system designed to eat him up through signatures money and bias, republicans will vote for Ron over Obama
@esopxe But have we fixed the issue of getting the same independent in all states to vote for? He wasn't even an option to vote for in some states last run. Some had to vote for Chuck Baldwin instead. Will they let him in the debates as an independent? Of course Faux News kept him out of debates last run as a repub. I seen Jesse Ventura said he would run as VP if Ron ran as an independent, but these questions need answered.
@esopxe - Ron Paul is an Independent . He just runs as a republican because by making his status republican he gets more media attention & therefore more support from voters. Independents r shut out & r not on the ballot, thats why I guess he switched to republican. If he switches back to being Independent on the score card, his name & presence will start to loose the momentum that he has gained that took 30+yrs. If there be any faith in this country, then Paul will have to run as a republican
@NinjaForeChrist I fear you maybe correct, but Ron Paul will never win the Republican nomination, let's be honest and real here. I love Ron Paul, but he's too rogue for them to ever put him in the forefront. That's a sad statement.
@esopxe why? he is a republican. you think if a person is independent makes them more honest? you don't know ross dude. Traditional republicans have the same views as ron paul.
Ron Paul's budget proposal is great: attack foreign spending primarily and begin managing better spending at home and ultimately get rid of the FED who created the entire mess.
As he says in this interview, " I hate to talk bad about Capitalism"
Correct, Dr. Paul, and my only contention with him has always been his insistence that the Free Market will take care of everything. No, unregulated Capitalism eventually leads to Cronyism,Oligarchy/Plutocracy,Monopoly aka Corporatocracy,.
I think he's coming around, he just need to stop listening to Schiff. (lol)
Is Ron Paul related to Bush in some way? Man they look alike!

Pretty sure it's the mainstream politicians that "frame" issues in ways to either confuse, or sideline constituents.
And why would it be a disaster? You are like every other critic. Vague put downs that offer no rationale, and critique no specific policies.

fuck the CIA, Get out of Vietnam, fire my vice president. If a bullshiit actor can be president for 8 years why not a successful businessman who doesn't have to kiss the ass?
zinger1010 11 months ago
@zinger1010 how many times has he gone bankrupt now? Good choice to fix budget problems you paid advertiser :)
ECmama1 11 months ago
@ECmama1 The country is bankrupt because of the FED and the ponzi scheme known as fractional reserve lending in which the Taxpayer, that's you, pays 900% interest to have the fed create our money. Amazing how many Americans don't understand how the Fed has been robbing us for the past 100 years. Not one Politician since Kennedy has tried to get rid of the banksters, and you think RP will stand up when the Bankers put the gun to his head. And that's exactly what they do when they can't buy you
zinger1010 11 months ago
@ECmama1 Yeah. He's a bankruptcy expert. Which is exactly what we need. Don't get me wrong I love Ron Paul but the fact is that he will fold when his feet are to the fire. He talks a great game but will he sign the executive order that can end the Federal Reserve? I don't think so. On the other hand Trump knows what has to be done and has the guts to do it. We are bankrupt, out of credit, ready for foreclosure. Do you think that a Washington politician is going to get us out of this mess?

@zinger1010 Are you joking man, Ron Paul has said the same things for the last 30 years and you think a money hungry, ruthless and arrogant businessman like trump will get rid of the federal reserve...do us all a favor, dont vote at all.
vincentca2004 11 months ago
@vincentca2004 Thank you for illustrating my point. Yes Ron Paul has been saying.....Ron Paul is not doing, just saying. Hello, duh. Libertarians talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Wall St and the Banksters know this well. Which is probably why the man is alive today. If not for the Fed, every American would have a yacht and his own airplane. America would have been way ahead of the rest of the world. Those of you sitting around bickering all of this , have no clue, no life, and no job
zinger1010 11 months ago
@zinger1010 Trump is all about self-profit, and isn't concerned with people ruined by his business practices. Come on, his CASINO went bankrupt -- and the House always wins! Without daddy's money and business, there'd be no Donald.
Our nation is sorely missing leaders with integrity -- people who can be trusted to do the right thing because it's right, even if no one is looking. Trump boasts about lying straight to someone's face and 'screwing' them over. We've got plenty of that already.
IaoGawd 11 months ago
@zinger1010 Think about what you just said, how the hell do you think he got rich? by fucking alot of people and if you make him your leader you will get the fucking.

If Ron Paul does not run, Rand Paul will. Keep your eyes on him.
Rand Paul has a set of very sharp elbows, as his opponents found out to their sorrow. Rand Paul's Democrat opponent got down in the mud and got a beating he never expected and will never forget.

@Skeptic121 I'd like to see him with more Washington experience before he runs for president. Although maybe it would be better if he didn't.

If you think that Ron Paul should run as an independent in 2012, thumb this up.
esopxe 11 months ago 104
@esopxe No, no, no. If he does that he's GUARANTEED not to be in the debates and will have an extremely hard time getting his message out. He's very effective running as a republican.
Ron Paul 2012!!!
rahmega7 11 months ago 3
@esopxe No, I want him to win. To win he has to go for the Republican nomination. But I agree, if he doesn't get on the ticket he should run as an independent or Libertarian.
BobGeorgeAU 11 months ago
@esopxe No, we need independent libertarians to vote in Republican primaries. That way, the Republican party could become libertarian.
TravistheHuman 11 months ago 3
@esopxe
only if he doesn't get the Repub nomination.
xxxresistance 11 months ago
@esopxe
thats a horrible idea the minute he puts Independent the system designed to eat him up through signatures money and bias, republicans will vote for Ron over Obama
europa 11 months ago
@esopxe But have we fixed the issue of getting the same independent in all states to vote for? He wasn't even an option to vote for in some states last run. Some had to vote for Chuck Baldwin instead. Will they let him in the debates as an independent? Of course Faux News kept him out of debates last run as a repub. I seen Jesse Ventura said he would run as VP if Ron ran as an independent, but these questions need answered.
JamJHolmes 11 months ago
@esopxe
I am glad he is smart enough not to do that.
truefictions 11 months ago
@esopxe - Ron Paul is an Independent . He just runs as a republican because by making his status republican he gets more media attention & therefore more support from voters. Independents r shut out & r not on the ballot, thats why I guess he switched to republican. If he switches back to being Independent on the score card, his name & presence will start to loose the momentum that he has gained that took 30+yrs. If there be any faith in this country, then Paul will have to run as a republican
NinjaForeChrist 11 months ago
@NinjaForeChrist I fear you maybe correct, but Ron Paul will never win the Republican nomination, let's be honest and real here. I love Ron Paul, but he's too rogue for them to ever put him in the forefront. That's a sad statement.
livingaftermidnight 11 months ago
@esopxe why? he is a republican. you think if a person is independent makes them more honest? you don't know ross dude. Traditional republicans have the same views as ron paul.
sharinganclan213 11 months ago
@sharinganclan213 The general public's general definition and view of a "Republican" is far different than yours.
Please quote my comment where I said that being an independent make them more honest.
Yeah, I don't know Ross. He must be the guy who taught you to put words in people's mouths.
esopxe 11 months ago
@esopxe That gives him no chance of winning and guarantees Obama the win. Have you ever heard of the bull moose party? Ross Perot?
cream7600 11 months ago
@esopxe Ron Paul should not run as an Independant unless the fake conservatives don't let him run.
Ron Paul is a conservative Republican, and it'd be nice to have him remind the public what that really is.

Ron Paul's budget proposal is great: attack foreign spending primarily and begin managing better spending at home and ultimately get rid of the FED who created the entire mess.

cchaeuser 11 months ago
Dr Paul is honest and frank, I'll give him that.
(lol)
Just kidding, Paulites! Paularians! Paulists!
