I dont really like Famiclone games. You can't actually play your old Cartridge Games. If I wanted to play nintendo on a chip, I'd download an Emulator!
@shadowthingey OR you could use a switch so that you could change between the emulated games and the cartridge so that you could play anywhere without bringing a giant cartridge in your pocket.
Hey Brian! Looks great : ) I was just curious. What about bipassing the 7805 and running the screen directly off of the voltage coming from the batteries?
I thought it looked fine in high quality. And of course it's unedited. It's an unscripted, continuous take. This isn't a performance, it's more of a demonstration of a work in progress.
True, but this case only allows for 4 AA's. Plus, the voltage booster is supposed to be around 90% efficient so it's not like I'm losing a whole lot.

@joedog86 hey man, love your work, I was just curious to know what the chip board under the screen was in this video. Thanks

I spent about $50 on it, and I got it through eBay. Search for a 2.5" monitor - you should find something comparable.

It's okay, kurt is spamming me because I told him to.

It really isn't too hard at all. Just take careful notes when you take stuff apart, and then reconnect the wires you need.
