Your ears must be painted on. This stripped down version sounds sensational. And just to correct you, he's singing it in A minor. He usually sings it in B minor. There are numerous reasons why he's dropped it a tone, the most likely being that he may have a cold. Much easier to sing in a lower key when you have one. You obviously know very little about music, and should do your homework before trying to appear educated.....

I agree with you. A voice like his will never get old on me, while all those pretty songs that are nice to listen to but doesnt have a voice to attract will just be a moment's obsession.

I think it's his eyes that got me to him. I was really mesmerised with him the first time I saw him auditioning and his rewind clips, then the top 36 'Satisfaction' eye stares and flirts with the camera. He got the whole package!

This is beautiful. Adam is the male version of Kelly Clarkson in a lot of ways. I just mean by that that he has a great advantage in a tough pop world of being a good, natural, live performer (i.e., he doesn't need all the props, and I actually prefer my singers this way, especially him and KC). He needs to lay off the thing that he usually can't resist where he goes up high (falsetto?), but he nicely avoids that throughout the song here, so I'm really loving this performance.

@3ku1 I would say that this diversity is why he should win the Grammy for Best Pop Male Vocal. I mean he can sing this song so many ways and sound fresh. His range is incredible. An opera exprt from San Diego was interviewed after he lost Idol and said that Adam is not using his Falsetto on the high notes...he says that Adam is really singnig in that range. This may be true because his upper register is so damn strong and powerful and he can make it hard or soft (LOL).

For the First time in a long time, I can safely say that in five years time i will still be listening to Adam Lamberts songs. Past, present and any made in the future. His music is real, and as he said he goes by instinct, that is apparent when you watch and listen to his music, even with out his videos you can still hear his heart and soul in his voice, and for me, that is REAL music. Watch out ladies and gents cause I think hes here to stay and I'm all for it. We need real music again.
