They have a decent sound but I hate the fragmented vocals at the beginning of the song. To be honest, indie in general is getting pretty stagnant now (and in some cases, just shamelessly plagiarising more talented and influential bands COU*theenemy*UGH) but I'll still be interested to hear where this lot goes from here because at least they sound like their heart's in it and it doesn't sound derivative.

I think people are missing the point of being "Indie".
Yes, these are a small Indie band at the moment, take Arctic Monkeys for example, small Indie band in the early years, over a while, they got bigger and "Mainstream". The only reason for this is because they are good, they are mainstream yes, but they still play Indie music, Indie style.
Now all you 14,15 and what ever age you may be, stop shopping at Topman, you're ruining it for the real Indies out there.
I completely concur! It's like when my friend was moaning on about how Phoenix was "mainstream garbage." It's quite the opposite. They were (and still are) an awesome Indie band , who just happened to get popular. By all means, they still have a distinctly indie sound, and I would never classify them as "mainstream garbage." The same absolutely applies for these guys- they seem more focused on the music than the fame, and I love that about them!

Regardless, each band carries with them a distinctive quality- a keen sound that differs from other bands. Be it the voice, the guitar riffs, the percussions, etc. Although some bands are becoming atypical of the standard that you've mentioned, I highly doubt that Little Comets can be typecasted in that particular standard, at least in my opinion. True, some may argue that their sound is similar to other bands, but their lyrics, charisma, and charm make them stand out from others.
