Maybe the album cover has a lot to do with it, but most of this album really reminds me of a ship out at sea, and the parts that are heavy on acoustic guitar & ride cymbal remind me of crashing waves.

That dazzling, and convenient intro hooked me into this song immediately.

This is the only song where they sing, really well on the album, but the rest of the song, vocal-wise is really epic, and very dark.

All the riffs, especially the dark breakdown after the chorus, feels like I'm sinking to the bottom ocean floor of no return.

Brann's drumming just reiterates why the feelings of a struggle is so deep, and complex for other people, and not for the person who understands it (Like Ahab)

This song's lyrics, confuses the hell out of me, but they are exuberant songwriters.

The bass of the album to me represents the low haunting, silent but crushing sounds of being underwater. The guitars paint a picture of emotion, a story in life.

The vocals are the best part.
