  • She sings in tamil about Venkateswara. The she sings the song composed by Annamacharya.

Can any one give the meaning of telugu part of the song?

  • m.s.amma is absolutely ma saraswathi

  • One of Annamacharya's best kriti with tamil intro by the best karnatic singer ever. Complete involvement by MSS. Yenta Tanmayatvamooo!

  • MS amma at her best :)

  • she is divine

  • glory to MS Amma....

  • When she sees up when she sings, i could see in her eyes she is seeing God right there!

  • The Song like Bhaja Govindam has deep meaning and message to humanity. Only MS can give life to such meaningful songs. I learnt Vishnu Shasranamam from her rendition by heart.

  • M S AMMA is the only one who can take such devotional songs to exterme spiritual height,,,,,

  • What a beautiful rendition!! Brindavani and Mayamalava gowla. MS is divine.

  • gokul sir!!

    thanks for ur wonderful work!!

  • MS " The great"... she is world best classical and carnatic singer .

  • i love rock music and ilayaraja but after hearing to this i am awestruck. this keerthana is the best musical piece i have ever heard and she does it with such perfection.its sad that people on TV talk more about saif biting kareena more than things like this.

  • It's not just sad but very unfortunate that our present generation youth is blindly going behind the western culture while the westerners seem to be interested in our rich culture.

  • thats true....as i have been to 14 countries till now... all the people were appriciated and attracted towards our traditional music....besides i will welcome western music too...everyone should maintain the balance between the cultures and traditions then it makes the true globalization :)

  • You are right...western music also has its own style of blend and composition that has attracted lots n lots of people all over the globe...still, jai ho MS amma :)

  • There is no need to feel sad. we should have appreciation for everything. western culture also has some good things. I have seen including myself going thru a cycle. Light film music first. Now I cant listen to anything but good Indian classical music.

  • That is different, this is different.

Don't compare Oranga with Apple and Apple with Mango and make your life fruitless/enjoy none.

Your posting reminds me some commercial ad of super RIN / Nirma :))

  • Does anyone know what language this is? It sounds soooo beautiful and i am eager to know.

    thank you

  • Santhi, this is the language TELUGU

  • this is TAMIL

  • No. Its TELUGU and its Annamacharya kriti. The first part she sings before the kriti is TAMIL but he actual kriti is in Telugu.

  • tears comes from my eyes on seeing the bakthi that she emits while singing WOW!

  • seriously suthra !!! wat u said wa sirght..even i watched this video several times everytime i see maaaaaan!! my eyes were filled wid tears .... too good.... especiallyw en she sings teh line"sree venkatapathy neevaithe"..... jus WOW!!!!

  • can sombady please explain the lyrics...

  • well im not too good but the basic meaning is that God will to people in what ever form they choose to believe in. To a Vishnavite He appears as Vishnu and to a person who worships Shiva he would appare as Shiva but in the end theyre all the same God. And also that He can only appear to a person having as much power as they believe he has. So if you believe He can lift mountains He will be able to but if you believe that He doesnt exist then He will never grace you.

  • thank you sooooooo much for the translation.... her voice is sooo beautiful and i am liek oh my god what is she saying what is she saying ...lols... thank you sooo much. santhiya

  • great meaning! thanks for posting of this keerthana in MSS voice - divine voice.

  • very spiritual!.. can listen to amma tirelessly...she is superb

  • A good example of 'Ugaaboga' concept of alapana introduced to Karnataka music originally by Sri. Purandara Daasa and his followers. For common man 'Ugaaboga' may be more appealing than 'Alaapana'. Again as expected MSS excels. For example Sri Vidhya Bhushana starts most of the krithis with Uhgaaboga. I wish many will follow that along with current alapanas.

    excels

  • Annamayya creates a beautiful poem with this one, suggesting the multitudinousness of human seeking, and the absoluteness of that which is being sought. MS again gives another inimitable performance.

  • It is because Subbulaxshmi mata that me Sri Vaishnava and brought me to Sri Venkateshwara! I use to listen to Her Venkatesha Subrabatam very morning when I was with I.S.K.O.N ashram in L.A. when I was new bhakta. I learned alot about how to intone Sanskrit mantras from Her.

I am indebted to Her for so much of my Spiritual life right now. It is because of Her I now go to Sri Sampradaya temple in Malibu. Namaskar and Love. adiyen, Govinda Ramanuja dasa/ Santa Monica, Ca. usa.

  • Spritually Uplifting. Simply beautiful.

  • If Gods ever sing or speak a language this must be it.
