Bhagavan Adi Da was born in Franklin Square, New York, so that's probably what you're picking up... Yes, in his youth he worked with great intention to enunciate with clarity, to communicate in the most plain and understandable manner. Is something wrong with that, in your opinion? He had a lot to say, and worked hard his entire lifetime to communicate Happiness, and to help people in our understanding.

Speaking for myself, my relationship to him through such means as the net and used books of his has tuned me into understanding the transcendent nature of love-bliss-joy-happiness. I tune to it at times and am overwhelmed by the freedom of the position and know that the gift is given more freely than can be imagined, and my relationship to him cannot be defined or limited. He breaks me, lifts me, loves me and all beings. Da!
