If you're confused about which one to get, you really should get the X10. X1 and X2 these days are for people that know what they want.

Diamond shape, you mean the lightening on the x1? well if it is, it looks more cooler in the video than in person when it lights up. And i was just like you when i saw x1. I thought x1 was cooler, but x2 grew on me and looks more refined than x1. You will understand once you get x1. X1 kinda looks cool, but feels outdated once you play around with it. I'd say too much gaps and the shape is like brick, unlike x2 with nice curves. But x1 is still indeed good phone for 2008 ones.

yeah i think i'd choose X2 actually rather than X1. Diamond shape, by that i mean the diamond shapes of the buttons for X1

@Excril i don't know when... but didn't Rogers had X1 for 3 year contract? If yes, than x2 will most likely come to Rogers. Rogers is like one the carriers for Canada yes?

X10. I think it's sexy, but not the premium device. Build quality is above normal. Not sure but i think the front is all plastic, rather than Glass. But If you love Android, then i say it will be the only Android phone that i would actaully buy it with SE's cool interface~ but unlocked x2 and x10 are similar in $. ur call.

Yes, rogers is one of the carriers for Canada. I've been wondering how long it will be till they release it to Canada. I've seen X1 and i was planning to get it but then i i found out that there's X2 and then X10! and X5 i was like what the hell... But anyways X2 is released right? If so maybe they're not really going to release it here in Canada because it's been way too long... I'll probably get it from Hong Kong or U.S.

@Kingmobile x1 was indeed made by HTC. SE just gave them a design and HTC manufactured it. And x2 this time, is not made by HTC. it's some company. I forgot the name. And why wouldn't you never buy Xperia phone? Have you had it? Just remember, Xperia is not an OS. It's a name of the product.

@Excril trust me, as a owner of x1, you rather buy x2. x1 is outdated and x2 will even get the latest windows 6.5x update in the near future. Plus x2 looks more refined than x1.

if you don't mind, how's the text "letters" for x1? i currently have W960i and i tell you, texting is dissapointing due to it's slow and repetition of weird inputs when you press any button in this one. does x2 includes more features than x1?

@Excril well as you know, x1 has QWERTY keyboard and it will be better than w960i by just looking at it. But x1 has small keys even though it has qwerty keyboard. The buttons are flat and even though you get used to it, you will get mistakes by not pressing it when typing fast. But good thing is that it has really large spacebar button. I thought it was too big, but having both x1 and touch pro 2, i appreciate it. I don't own x2, but looks like it does have more features than x1. And diamond

hmm... this or HD2? Well hd2 is the logical choice since it has the next generation processor but this one might still do the same job and I will maybe still be satisfied! So.... Maybe it lags. And I will try it out before I buy it. And if it lags then then I will not buy it. And if x10 will lag then I will throw myself to the floor and laugh. But I dont thinks so. I think that the panel concept would have worked better with snapdragon. Well see that in x3 hopefully.

looks great; love the keyboard layout. on the software end it looks a bit slow at its responce to touches (which is a negative for the non stylus users)

You video camera always go out of focus, and become blury.

Anyway, to me X2 hasn't solve its notoriuos problems: irresponsive, laggy, choppy and freezes when you really need to use it. I don't see the point for existing x1 user to upgrade to X2. The only reason would be to have a case that the paint doesn't chip off, a better camera, or you really want an acceleratrometer in your device.
