But when I go to work for someone, knowing I am not joining a union, knowing I am accepting a certain wage, I deserve what I get--the wage I agreed to and the fact that I may not be eligible for insurance for three months, and may need to pay for that insurance. OK, fine, people deserve to be paid fairly and treated justly. But when I go to work for someone, knowing I am not joining a union, knowing I am accepting a certain wage, I deserve what I get--the wage I agreed to and the fact that I may not be eligible for insurance for three months, and may need to pay for that insurance. I do not appreciate going to sign petitions for ballot issues and being harassed and threatened by union workers, it speaks poorly of the unions and those within them.

By not paying overtime and pay workers minimum wage when ever possible. The Teamsters were there for you. But those monthly fees had to be paid, certainly worth it!

The kennedy's???.Which one?If your father murdered someone, that does not make you a killer does it?Since THERE is NOT any evidence implicating Robert Kennedy with the organized crime,i will argue semantics with you.I would like to add,that despite possessing limited experience as a litigator,the rich-man's son did a pretty solid job as attorney general,whereas others with years of experience and CV's that would make you shake your head in awe,have failed miserably.

@tr33887 Joe Sr. was involved - perhaps his involvement is what secured Jack the presidency, but RFK, at least from what I've read, was NOT involved in organized crime in the least.
And I have read a book, actually several, on the Kennedy brothers. But I'd like to know what you mean by the Kennedy's being involved in organized crime. Who are you referring to and in what sense?

Hoff enemy of Giancana, Kennedy's enemy of Hoffa, Giancana "friend" aka owner or part owner and collaborator with Kennedy crime family.
Hoffa was pissed off at the mob for fuckign up some of his shit and was trying to make the teamsters his own thing instead of the fully owned enterprise of the mob....think Vegas teamseters fund.

Robert F. Kennedy was a great attorney and a brilliant Attorney General. Jimmy Hoffa abused his power as president of the Teamsters Union by embezzling money, intimidating employees, and not paying them fair wages.
Hoffa was eventually convicted of jury tampering, and Kennedy's crusade against organized crime paid off: FBI convictions increased by around 600% when Kennedy was Attorney General. The laws of every country must be obeyed, and we all need strong leaders to enforce them.
