you can see the driving style difference actually between those two thanks to the braking and throttle indicators! schumacher prefers to make some corrections while braking using th throttle
what a bullshit that people say that passing f1 cars hasbecome so difficult these days. It's only 2 seasons ago that schumi showed in his last race what racing is all about. After he left, it became a pitstop race. Such a shame, we had to wait for the last race of this season where f1 racing showed itself again...
he says: "Now... And Kimi goes inside again, and Michael leaves his car inside, leaves his car inside, and he's got it!!!!!!!! And Raikkonen did it so nice too! Celebration of motorsport. And he found the way through, he slips by Raikkonen and he can brake down the car before the corner. Awesome"
Well renault didn't had a great car, but alonso made them back into a winning team towards the end ;) I like alonso's driving a lot more than hamiltons
his father was poor and worked double shifts to make sure he could have a karting career. he was not rich until they got to the upper tiers of the motorsport ladder. i hate hamilton btw
Hamilton's father wasn't rich - he worked double shifts and early on struggled to even support at Karting levels.
Schumacher's family owned a Karting track and karts, Senna's family was rich, Alonso's family was not well off, but like Hamilton - showed promise and ability, therefor attracted sponsors and higher interests.
Better begining than most. What better way to learn karting than owning your own track. Still, you need ability to just get into F1 - so I'm by no means taking anythng away from him, he made the most of an ideal situation.
better check your sources before next time you begin to think about posting things like that - just for the record - young Schumacher had to go through rubbish bins around karting tracks to find old tires, that were still good enough to be used because he coudn't afford to get a set of new ones. Hamilton, on the other hand had been supported by McLaren for a long time, so don't say, Schumacher had easy start. Check Kubica's story if looking for a real hero btw...
As I said, Schumacher had abetter start than most. That is my opinion and dont even think about twisting it.
I would have loved (just as any F1 fan) to have access to a karting track from day one.
That begining is definantly idealistic. You can have all the money in the world, but there is no guarantee you will get spotted in karting, being the son of the owner would have helped in an early start, kart racer's advice, and suport.
Opinions are the way we perceive facts. For me, it is my opinion because I perceive facts, the way I see facts - people who start karting early in life (As Schumacher started earlier than most, if not all of the F1 drivers) I beleive its an advantage, as even rich familys usually wont notice such potential until a bit later in life (2-3 years, which can be crucial in racer devalopment.
Opinion is derived from facts, and common sence - dont you have any perception of what an opinion is?
cool, the only problem is - there is something wrong with your facts which you use to derive your opinions! as i said before - young Michael Schumacher was too poor to get even a new set of tyres! he got to the top thanks to his determination and hard work
So, the fact he had access to these tires (even used that they were). And the fact he had access to a kart track all the time, and the fact he was in competitions and training in karting from a very young age had nothing to do with it?
Admit it, he had the ideal upbrining. He was bred into Karting - not him adopting karting.
you're right about his upbringing - he has been in competition since very young age, which could have helped him.
but you're missing my point - it was difficult for him to race in karting as he and his family were poor - it was his determination, not money (which he didn't have at that time) that took him to F1 world...
People whinge about his skin colour, the fact McLaren spotted him at a young age, the fact his father is his manager (Which only means Hamilton's interests are TOP priority to him), they whinge because he bested Alonso in his rookie year, and that he took Alonso's youngest WDC crown.
Get over it people, he deserves a chance - but I guess some people made up their minds about him the moment they saw his skin colour, or what team he drives for.
id of put hamilton there, but its to early to put him up there, i think he is bettr then alonso, or can be, and i dont no y so many hav put raikkonen up there wen he only got 1 fluky championship, but at this rate id say hamilton could go on to be the same as senna, just early days
hahaha hamilton could go on be the same as senna????o_O
that's impossible. he is very idiot and he's always cheating like monaco 07, hungary 07, canada 08, spa 08, australia 09...
i don't like him becos those things and becos fuking mclaren owned alonso in his favour. alonso had been the 07 champion if his team had respected the equality treatment
in monaco 07 mclaren said to alonso and hamilton that they should have reduced revolutions. alonso did it but hamilton tried to overtake him disobeying team orders. then ham denounced the team. in hungary 07 alonso had an extra lap in Q3 but ham didn't allow him to pass and then when alonso had to stop he waited becos team said to him to wait. then ham couldn't do another lap and denounced again the team and maFIA penalised alonso becos they wanted.
in bahrein 08 he hit alonso becos he wanted. in canada 08 he hit raikkonen in pit lane becos he didn't know the difference between red and green in a semaphore. in spa 08 he overtook raikkonen without waiting for the next curve as the rules say. in australia 09 he lied to maFIA about the reason he let to pass trulli.
I wonder what Senna would have made of the Raikkonen/Hamilton battle in Spa. I wonder if he would have seen it as cheating :)
Race fans? You guys dont deserve to call your self race fans. You are arm chair lawyers and politicians. Cheating? Bring back Schummy and let him crash a few opponents off the track so these "fans" all have a collective heart attack and go away.
Cheat? Hamilton screws up. Calling it cheating is like calling masterbation genocide. Watch a race ffs and stfu.
if u say that all i said it's no cheating u must b a maFIA marshall lol. i didn't say that hamilton isn't a good pilot becos he is but he is very idiot
hamilton would of been 07 champion if the team were more favourable at the start of the season, alonso would of been 07 champion if he didnt throw his toys out of the pram, and i meant in championship
hahaha. u hadn't seen 07 season. all pilots were complaining about maFIA like in fuji 07 when the liar braked down and provocated an accident between webber and vettel. and the team didn't give the equality treatment
Hamilton and Alonso were treated equally. Which is Alonso's problem. He expected as he was defending his WDC - he would be given priority over the rookie, Hamilton. This stems from his Renult days, when he was given priority.
It was said in 2007 Alonso at the start of the year was treated better than Hamilton - the FIA investigated and fined McLaren for favouring Alonso over Hamilton. Then it was evened out. (Which is when Alonso's whinging started).
hahahaha. hamilton was the fuking king in mclaren becos they were always helping him. he was crying always to maFIA to penalise alonso. in renault there is the equality treatment. piquet is really bad that's the problem
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
yes he always cried to the maFIA like in monaco 07 hungary 07 spa 08 australia 09... and renault put the resources into alonso becos he's much better than piquet
that's not crying. that's absolute bullshit by the F.I.A and I'm sure you would say something too, don't say you wouldn't you wanker. well I dunno if you noticed but pakillo027 was talking about equal treatment and you just proved my point. renault isn't equal treatment. Fernando alonso himself, said that he had as much of an equal oppurtunity to win and compete as lewis hamilton did, when he was at mclaren.
What did I just say? We all know renault doesn't care about piquet. They put all their resources into Alonso. It's no secret. Maybe I give piquet the benefit of the doubt here since his first season last year he's getting adjusted. Now he has the new car to deal with.on the other hand If renault would help him out a little. They're not really known for helping people out if there name isn't alonso.
let me tell you something - i don't mind hamilton's skin colour! What i don't like about him is that he is a CHEAT, who would do whatever it takes to win, no matter the costs - remember 1st race of this season - he lied about being overtaken byTrulli (fine, if that only helped hamilton and didn't affect Trulli, but by doing so he was also saing "Trulli is a liar" - he didn't care about fellow driver!). One more thing - Alonso as rookie was starting with Minardi - much weaker team then McLaren...
Stop saying Hamilton is a cheat, you have no evidence to say such things. He followed his employer's orders (Which was to withold information); Which is what Frank Williams said he would have done in the same situation anyway. Which is what most teams would have done.
Schumacher is a cheat, dont forget it. A career of suspicious actions - and you wait for an scrap of dirt on Hamilton to slag him on the internet.
You hated him once you found out he is in McLaren, and black. End of storey.
so in that case you indicate hamilton has no brain at all - doesn't distinguish what's ok and what's wrong. Btw - funny excuse - following team orders - i wonder why he didn't obey them in Monaco GP07 when he and alonso were up in front and both were told to stop pushing the cars to the limits - alonso did so, hamilotn didn't (and started whining about his team after the race...). I guess this rule works only when it's in hamilton's favour...
As I said, Hamilton's inocents was determind the moment you saw the colour of his skin. You will defend Schumi - regardless of his countless moments of suspicous actions (And yes, he too followed orders by the team that were not right).
You make no sence, when it comes you out-side of racing courtroom sagas - Hamilton has ALWAYS followed the team's orders. And Aus GP was NO different. On the track he is a racer, off the track he is a employee - big difference.
firstly - show me, where did I write, that Schumacher was an innocent driver?! Come on - point me this text! Read things carefully, the way they are posted (not the way you want them to see), before you make comments - all I say is Schumacher was a great driver (which by ANY normal meaning DOESN'T equal saint!). you r so blinded with defending hamilton, you shoot at everybody with these ridiculous accusations, which have nothing to do with reality.
secondly - maybe judging people by there skin colour is your thing (which would explain why you stick to this argument so persistently), but not everybody does that - certainly I don't. Once again - read what people write, don't pretend you know better what they think then themselves! You want to discuss - then seek for REAL arguments, don't make up ones!
Last but not least - being a subordinate doesn't let you stop thinking -read about Nazi's Nurnberg trial (way of their defence&what was said)
If judging people by skin colour was my thing, morientttes - I'd be in your position, not giving Hamilton room to breath.
You defend Schumacher, saying he worked so hard and play the violine for him and his storey. Yet skip the fact he was and is a cheat.
Hamilton has a storey similar - without money, using ability and determination - But you forget ALL ABOUT that, and focus on what would 'beleive' is cheating from Hamilton. Regardless of the fact Schumacher has done worse.
Hamilton since the age of 11 or 12 (not sure) had the support of McLaren - to make things crystal clear.
Anyway, i'm tired of this barren conversation - you claim to know what I really think better then me? Fine, so be it - in this case I don't need to tell you what i think about people like you, cos since you're almighty, you know it better then me anyway
He had the support because he went up to Ron Dennis and told him he wanted to race for him - Ron saw Hamilton in a kart race, and knew he had something special. He then gave him some financial aid and training since he was 14.
Schumacher had similar involvements - but with sponsors of the kart track, and personal sponsors.
I consider myself more fair than yourself. If that is better, then so be it. Better is a point of view - and from my point of view - My angle on life is 'better'.
However I still dont understand what your points is - about this whole 'boohoo Hamilton got help from McLaren'
McLaren wouldn't have spent a dime on Hamilton unless they knew he had something special. It hadn't been done before - they only done it because he had talent.
It was obviously clear from a very early age, that Hamilton was going to be a superstar, though I bet none could have perceived the nature of the rest of the world when it comes to skin colour or nationality.
I love Alonzo. All round the best driver on the track right now because he has the right mix of talent and brains. But saying Hamilton has no heart or bollocks is just silly. He has those in spades. In fact its his bollocks he needs to get control of. What he doesn't have is a fucking brain in his head half the time.
He can race, he has shown that. Right now he is 10 steps aways from being an Indycar driver.

Playtechy 2 years ago
schumacher's family did own a track. rolf had to get a second job at the circuit to help his son's racing dreams
mac6666666 2 years ago
Better begining than most. What better way to learn karting than owning your own track. Still, you need ability to just get into F1 - so I'm by no means taking anythng away from him, he made the most of an ideal situation.
Playtechy 2 years ago
lol sorry about that im an idiot accidently put did instead of didnt sorry
mac6666666 2 years ago
better check your sources before next time you begin to think about posting things like that - just for the record - young Schumacher had to go through rubbish bins around karting tracks to find old tires, that were still good enough to be used because he coudn't afford to get a set of new ones. Hamilton, on the other hand had been supported by McLaren for a long time, so don't say, Schumacher had easy start. Check Kubica's story if looking for a real hero btw...
morientttes 2 years ago
As I said, Schumacher had abetter start than most. That is my opinion and dont even think about twisting it.
I would have loved (just as any F1 fan) to have access to a karting track from day one.
That begining is definantly idealistic. You can have all the money in the world, but there is no guarantee you will get spotted in karting, being the son of the owner would have helped in an early start, kart racer's advice, and suport.
Playtechy 2 years ago
yeah - OPINION having nothing to do with the facts... good enough for me
morientttes 2 years ago
Opinions are the way we perceive facts. For me, it is my opinion because I perceive facts, the way I see facts - people who start karting early in life (As Schumacher started earlier than most, if not all of the F1 drivers) I beleive its an advantage, as even rich familys usually wont notice such potential until a bit later in life (2-3 years, which can be crucial in racer devalopment.
Opinion is derived from facts, and common sence - dont you have any perception of what an opinion is?
Playtechy 2 years ago
cool, the only problem is - there is something wrong with your facts which you use to derive your opinions! as i said before - young Michael Schumacher was too poor to get even a new set of tyres! he got to the top thanks to his determination and hard work
morientttes 2 years ago
So, the fact he had access to these tires (even used that they were). And the fact he had access to a kart track all the time, and the fact he was in competitions and training in karting from a very young age had nothing to do with it?
Admit it, he had the ideal upbrining. He was bred into Karting - not him adopting karting.
Playtechy 2 years ago
you're right about his upbringing - he has been in competition since very young age, which could have helped him.
but you're missing my point - it was difficult for him to race in karting as he and his family were poor - it was his determination, not money (which he didn't have at that time) that took him to F1 world...
morientttes 2 years ago
totally agree 2, alonso atrue champ he is a driver with heart and guts, hamilton driver with famous gf, but no heart and no bollocks!!
rapperzondernaam 2 years ago
So many anti Hamilton people here.
Playtechy 2 years ago
id of put hamilton there, but its to early to put him up there, i think he is bettr then alonso, or can be, and i dont no y so many hav put raikkonen up there wen he only got 1 fluky championship, but at this rate id say hamilton could go on to be the same as senna, just early days
chlillis 2 years ago
agree :-)
GILLEStheBRAVE 2 years ago
hahaha hamilton could go on be the same as senna????o_O
that's impossible. he is very idiot and he's always cheating like monaco 07, hungary 07, canada 08, spa 08, australia 09...
i don't like him becos those things and becos fuking mclaren owned alonso in his favour. alonso had been the 07 champion if his team had respected the equality treatment
GO ALONSO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pakillo027 2 years ago
Pakillo027, care to name how he cheated in each instance ? And how Alonso did not?
Playtechy 2 years ago
in monaco 07 mclaren said to alonso and hamilton that they should have reduced revolutions. alonso did it but hamilton tried to overtake him disobeying team orders. then ham denounced the team. in hungary 07 alonso had an extra lap in Q3 but ham didn't allow him to pass and then when alonso had to stop he waited becos team said to him to wait. then ham couldn't do another lap and denounced again the team and maFIA penalised alonso becos they wanted.
Pakillo027 2 years ago
in bahrein 08 he hit alonso becos he wanted. in canada 08 he hit raikkonen in pit lane becos he didn't know the difference between red and green in a semaphore. in spa 08 he overtook raikkonen without waiting for the next curve as the rules say. in australia 09 he lied to maFIA about the reason he let to pass trulli.
Pakillo027 2 years ago
I wonder what Senna would have made of the Raikkonen/Hamilton battle in Spa. I wonder if he would have seen it as cheating :)
Race fans? You guys dont deserve to call your self race fans. You are arm chair lawyers and politicians. Cheating? Bring back Schummy and let him crash a few opponents off the track so these "fans" all have a collective heart attack and go away.
Cheat? Hamilton screws up. Calling it cheating is like calling masterbation genocide. Watch a race ffs and stfu.
morganbath 2 years ago
if u say that all i said it's no cheating u must b a maFIA marshall lol. i didn't say that hamilton isn't a good pilot becos he is but he is very idiot
Pakillo027 2 years ago
hamilton would of been 07 champion if the team were more favourable at the start of the season, alonso would of been 07 champion if he didnt throw his toys out of the pram, and i meant in championship
chlillis 2 years ago
alonso had been 07 champion if his team had respected the equality treatment that fuking dennis promised
Pakillo027 2 years ago
they did give equal treatment. People like you are just mad that lewis hamilton out drove alonso, also the number 1 driver of mclaren at the time.
jraybay 2 years ago
hahaha. u hadn't seen 07 season. all pilots were complaining about maFIA like in fuji 07 when the liar braked down and provocated an accident between webber and vettel. and the team didn't give the equality treatment
Pakillo027 2 years ago
what?.
jraybay 2 years ago 3
Hamilton and Alonso were treated equally. Which is Alonso's problem. He expected as he was defending his WDC - he would be given priority over the rookie, Hamilton. This stems from his Renult days, when he was given priority.
It was said in 2007 Alonso at the start of the year was treated better than Hamilton - the FIA investigated and fined McLaren for favouring Alonso over Hamilton. Then it was evened out. (Which is when Alonso's whinging started).
Playtechy 2 years ago
hahahaha. hamilton was the fuking king in mclaren becos they were always helping him. he was crying always to maFIA to penalise alonso. in renault there is the equality treatment. piquet is really bad that's the problem
Pakillo027 2 years ago
he never cried to the f.i.a you idiot. And at renault they put all their resources into alonso actually lol.
jraybay 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
yes he always cried to the maFIA like in monaco 07 hungary 07 spa 08 australia 09... and renault put the resources into alonso becos he's much better than piquet
Pakillo027 2 years ago
that's not crying. that's absolute bullshit by the F.I.A and I'm sure you would say something too, don't say you wouldn't you wanker. well I dunno if you noticed but pakillo027 was talking about equal treatment and you just proved my point. renault isn't equal treatment. Fernando alonso himself, said that he had as much of an equal oppurtunity to win and compete as lewis hamilton did, when he was at mclaren.
jraybay 2 years ago 4
it's crying. in renault there's equality treatment but the problem is that piquet is really bad
Pakillo027 2 years ago
Really?. so how would you know he's bad if he isn't getting equal equipment? If renault treated him like alonso maybe he'd be better, you don't know.
jraybay 2 years ago 2
no. becos he passed Q1 3 or 4 times only when the car was the same like in all 2008 and the first 2 races of 2009
Pakillo027 2 years ago
What did I just say? We all know renault doesn't care about piquet. They put all their resources into Alonso. It's no secret. Maybe I give piquet the benefit of the doubt here since his first season last year he's getting adjusted. Now he has the new car to deal with.on the other hand If renault would help him out a little. They're not really known for helping people out if there name isn't alonso.
jraybay 2 years ago
Well I guess we'll see just how much grace and skill he has now it looks as if his car isn't the best on the track :P
stu22aus 2 years ago
He has already showed us a very good showing. 2 races, 2 point finishes in a car that everyone agreed is not a point-scoring car.
Playtechy 2 years ago
let me tell you something - i don't mind hamilton's skin colour! One more thing - Alonso as rookie was starting with Minardi - much weaker team then McLaren...
morientttes 2 years ago
Stop saying Hamilton is a cheat, you have no evidence to say such things. He followed his employer's orders (Which was to withold information); Which is what Frank Williams said he would have done in the same situation anyway. Which is what most teams would have done.
Schumacher is a cheat, dont forget it. A career of suspicious actions - and you wait for an scrap of dirt on Hamilton to slag him on the internet.
You hated him once you found out he is in McLaren, and black. End of storey.
Playtechy 2 years ago
so in that case you indicate hamilton has no brain at all - doesn't distinguish what's ok and what's wrong. Btw - funny excuse - following team orders - i wonder why he didn't obey them in Monaco GP07 when he and alonso were up in front and both were told to stop pushing the cars to the limits - alonso did so, hamilotn didn't (and started whining about his team after the race...). I guess this rule works only when it's in hamilton's favour...
and stop putting in my mouth words I DIDN'T SAY!
morientttes 2 years ago
As I said, Hamilton's inocents was determind the moment you saw the colour of his skin. You will defend Schumi - regardless of his countless moments of suspicous actions (And yes, he too followed orders by the team that were not right).
You make no sence, when it comes you out-side of racing courtroom sagas - Hamilton has ALWAYS followed the team's orders. And Aus GP was NO different. On the track he is a racer, off the track he is a employee - big difference.
Playtechy 2 years ago
firstly - show me, where did I write, that Schumacher was an innocent driver?! Come on - point me this text! Read things carefully, the way they are posted (not the way you want them to see), before you make comments - all I say is Schumacher was a great driver (which by ANY normal meaning DOESN'T equal saint!). you r so blinded with defending hamilton, you shoot at everybody with these ridiculous accusations, which have nothing to do with reality.
morientttes 2 years ago
secondly - maybe judging people by there skin colour is your thing (which would explain why you stick to this argument so persistently), but not everybody does that - certainly I don't. Once again - read what people write, don't pretend you know better what they think then themselves! You want to discuss - then seek for REAL arguments, don't make up ones!
Last but not least - being a subordinate doesn't let you stop thinking -read about Nazi's Nurnberg trial (way of their defence&what was said)
morientttes 2 years ago
If judging people by skin colour was my thing, morientttes - I'd be in your position, not giving Hamilton room to breath.
You defend Schumacher, saying he worked so hard and play the violine for him and his storey. Yet skip the fact he was and is a cheat.
Hamilton has a storey similar - without money, using ability and determination - But you forget ALL ABOUT that, and focus on what would 'beleive' is cheating from Hamilton. Regardless of the fact Schumacher has done worse.
Playtechy 2 years ago
Hamilton since the age of 11 or 12 (not sure) had the support of McLaren - to make things crystal clear.
Anyway, i'm tired of this barren conversation - you claim to know what I really think better then me? Fine, so be it - in this case I don't need to tell you what i think about people like you, cos since you're almighty, you know it better then me anyway
good luck with your life - "smart guy"
morientttes 2 years ago
He had the support because he went up to Ron Dennis and told him he wanted to race for him - Ron saw Hamilton in a kart race, and knew he had something special. He then gave him some financial aid and training since he was 14.
Schumacher had similar involvements - but with sponsors of the kart track, and personal sponsors.
I consider myself more fair than yourself. If that is better, then so be it. Better is a point of view - and from my point of view - My angle on life is 'better'.
Playtechy 2 years ago
However I still dont understand what your points is - about this whole 'boohoo Hamilton got help from McLaren'
McLaren wouldn't have spent a dime on Hamilton unless they knew he had something special. It hadn't been done before - they only done it because he had talent.
It was obviously clear from a very early age, that Hamilton was going to be a superstar, though I bet none could have perceived the nature of the rest of the world when it comes to skin colour or nationality.
Playtechy 2 years ago
I love Alonzo. All round the best driver on the track right now because he has the right mix of talent and brains. But saying Hamilton has no heart or bollocks is just silly. He has those in spades. In fact its his bollocks he needs to get control of. What he doesn't have is a fucking brain in his head half the time.
He can race, he has shown that. Right now he is 10 steps aways from being an Indycar driver.

Also it was a great overtaking move.
