  • incredible move by schumacher

  • I just hope that Merceders can build a better car ext year!

  • Классный обгон!

  • One of the best and most memorable drives of Schumi's illustrious career. He was truly incredible to watch in this race.

  • i don't understand what the commentator said, but he was really ripping off clothes on this pass ....

and Michael we miss your superior masterful touch ... and wish to see you leap very soon on podium ....

  • i think that commentator was going to have a heart attack.

  • LOVE THE ITALIAN COMMENTARY!!!

  • @gullyj1

    HUNGARIAN

  • @gullyj1 lol, this is not italian...

  • The Master At Work

  • it was not a race it was a luctuer of drivig by the master.

  • i like excitable commentators but i couldn't put up up with one as bad as this every race

  • If that had been Kimi passing Michael, Michael would have just turned in on him. :P

  • that is typical schumi at work there. an older guy less inclined to take risks then a young guy nd he just showed his supreme driving ability there!!

  • That was a great pass and Kimi didn't make it easy, either.

  • I'll never forget david hobbs' comments on speedtv's broadcast of this race:

how many nascar passes is that worth, 500?

    Ouch Nascar! lol

  • @cstrnutt2004 That's a great line. I'm surprised we haven't heard any one-liners about Piquet, Jr. now driving in the "truck" series. A truck!!!

  • Beautiful driving from both =)

  • I am a Kimi fan but I have to admit that he got schooled by Schumi here.

  • It was just amazing... Nothing else I can say...

  • That's you finish a race, let alone a career. I mean he would have run away with that race if it wasn't for the tire puncture. To battle back like he did was amazing to see.

  • His Last Overtake of his F1 Career but now he's back to win another F1 title with Mercedes.

  • maybe

  • Just 2 tell everyone that schumacher went down 2 19th in the race earlier with a tyre puncture and recovered 2 4th thats who u call a Real Champ thats who u call Heroic and Thats who u call a Legend

  • raikkonnen won a race from 17th place 2005..it all depends on how superior the car is..schumi allways was better than his team mates even better than massa which in fact raikonnen was not able to so youre right somehow

  • kimi was 17th on the row, schumy was last and on the pits, he was 70 secs from the first, wich is way different from being 17th on the starting grid

  • But he wos losing 40 seconds to 18th place! If he wasn´t losing so much and was just 19th, he could have win with a huge lead!

  • if you see michael's helmet in you side mirror you kinda know you are"done" M.C. the real champ!

  • if schumi is behind u and is in a hurry then ur kinda finished!!

  • When senna died schumi was behind him :D

  • i never meant it like tht.

  • AND

  • sick comentator

  • just a word, awesome

  • wow listen to that commentator

  • he was more excited than schumi's team.

  • awesome

  • SICK

  • His return was a big scam fabricated from mosley ,his return was too good to be true

  • you are an idiot

  • hey turnip maybe you should take a course in marketing

  • Hey idiot, I have worked ina dvertising for 15 years, after an MBA in marketing from NYU. Maybe you should just shut up

  • @mazzif1 And now he's back anyways :D

  • too bad we won't see him driving again, it would be stunning!

  • We have been robbed!!! Him not returning is soooooo gutting!

  • @DAH210774

Dont worry mate......Michael secretly told me last week that he is planning on coming back to F1 in 2010. aparently mercedes will buy brawn & have their own team. But shhhh..dont tell anyone yet...its a secret.

  • @SupaSix1 Ahh don't believe everything you read lol ;-)

  • He will not return

  • schumacher was a very good overtaker..very daring...mike was good too...

  • kimi as well

  • i can't wait to see him back on track... F1 without him is just not the same..go go go shumi..the king is..baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

  • Wow that Hungarian commentator sounds... really weird.

  • and all this overtaking won these drivers how many titles? correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think it was 7, i'm not a schumacher fan, and i believe that senna would have been more than a match for schumacher if he hadn't lost his life, but you can't argue with the numbers

  • I can only say hahahahahhahahahahahahahaha

  • 2001, 2003, 2004? alonso was racing then.

your the one in denial you stupid fan boy.

  • He is back!

  • sorry i missed that the discussion was about overtaking...

  • The sport is about win, to be first to the finnishline....I dont care if schumi does more overtakes then other but he could drive a f1car better then anyoneelse and he didnt drove his competitior of the track more then two times so the other 89wins was just luck i guess????

  • your opinion is bullshit ^^ Michael Schmuacher is and were the BEST everybody that says anything else... is stupid and has no idea what a good racer is and means to be... peace

  • When you have watched some races of him then you would know that hes the best some words spa schumacher hakkinen? remember no because you were to small of course ^^

  • fukin cheat

  • Schumi was the best overtaker ever.

  • You are dumb... if you can't search for Schumi videos where he is overtaking then it's not my or not a problem of anyone other.. that is your problem! And then you needen't to write that only "one" video exist.. loool! No, Mansell (as Senna crashed often and unfair into him) is neutral to me.. I am a Schumi fan! :-). Schumi holds all records, was the talentest, best, fastest, cleanest, coolest and most consistent driver ever in F1 history!! Questions? ;-).

  • loooool! The most infai driver who risked also the lifes of other drivers with massive and pruposed crashes is Ayrton Senna! No doubt about it! And sure a "F1 fan" like you who dont know much about it writes that Schumi did lots of crashes.. but I ask you, what did he? Cmon, in 250 GP's how many crashes did Schumi?? And unfair crashes with risking lifes?? 0,1% maximal! Other drivers like Prost had even MORE crashes then Schumi f.e. .. you really dont know nothing!

  • Michael Schumacher was only the cleanest, best, and fairest driver ever in F1 history!!! :-). And for you noob, watch this video here where Schumi was asked about his contacts or crashes with other drivers: v=IGmbyfHJxwc

How he said it, happen contacts in the front (where Schumi often was), all rigister that. And happen this in the back, nobody cares! So it's dumb to write that Schumi did more accidents as other drivers.. and dont forget that he drove in 250 GP's! bye

  • and with your comment now I think you are about 12 years old! lool. And.. seen the video of overtaking-god Schumi? (I bet no lol)

  • ohh I forgot to write it! Thank you therefore. Of course Michael is one of the best (maybe the best) overtaker of al times. He was the best driver in rain and he could push the car nearly to the 100% limit in the corners.. so he had more chances to overtook other drivers - what he did! So simple is that! ;-). Better you watch this video: v=Uk2p2nRK-p4

of the BEST! .. maybe you know the word F1 since 3 mins looool..

  • again a great overtaking by the BEST DRIVER IN MOTOR EVER LIVED!! :-))) Thank you michael ;-)

  • scumacher the best overtaker this is prove......

and the best driver in history of formula 1

  • schumacher was the best overtaker in f1 history!

  • Audioquest56

    and you're a dirty whore.

  • Bravissimo, Schumi!

  • audioquest still a dirty envious guy......

  • wow....that commentator is nuts!

  • you can see the driving style difference actually between those two thanks to the braking and throttle indicators! schumacher prefers to make some corrections while braking using th throttle

  • 1) fangio

    3-alonso

    4-hakkinen

    3-raikkonen

  • Pure classe, Michael is number 1

  • what a bullshit that people say that passing f1 cars hasbecome so difficult these days. It's only 2 seasons ago that schumi showed in his last race what racing is all about. After he left, it became a pitstop race. Such a shame, we had to wait for the last race of this season where f1 racing showed itself again...

  • espectacular

  • yeah thats true i wanna laugh

  • that commentator sounds very funny, no idea what he's saying:D

  • he says: "Now... And Kimi goes inside again, and Michael leaves his car inside, leaves his car inside, and he's got it!!!!!!!! And Raikkonen did it so nice too! Celebration of motorsport. And he found the way through, he slips by Raikkonen and he can brake down the car before the corner. Awesome"

  • THanks for the translation:D:D:D

  • You're welcome, I'm from Hungary (just like the commentator :D)

  • schumi is, was, and will be the best formula 1 racer in the world! His races were unbelievable controlled with his skills :)

    Mansell

    Raikkonen

Alonso - I don't know... he won twice at Renault, now he's at Renault again but not so good as he was =/

  • Well renault didn't had a great car, but alonso made them back into a winning team towards the end ;) I like alonso's driving a lot more than hamiltons

  • me too...hamilton is at the F1 now because his sweet father is f*ucking rich and has some contacts with mclaren

  • his father was poor and worked double shifts to make sure he could have a karting career. he was not rich until they got to the upper tiers of the motorsport ladder. i hate hamilton btw

  • Hamilton's father wasn't rich - he worked double shifts and early on struggled to even support at Karting levels.

Schumacher's family owned a Karting track and karts, Senna's family was rich, Alonso's family was not well off, but like Hamilton - showed promise and ability, therefor attracted sponsors and higher interests.

  • schumacher's family did own a track. rolf had to get a second job at the circuit to help his son's racing dreams

  • Better begining than most. What better way to learn karting than owning your own track. Still, you need ability to just get into F1 - so I'm by no means taking anythng away from him, he made the most of an ideal situation.

  • lol sorry about that im an idiot accidently put did instead of didnt sorry

  • better check your sources before next time you begin to think about posting things like that - just for the record - young Schumacher had to go through rubbish bins around karting tracks to find old tires, that were still good enough to be used because he coudn't afford to get a set of new ones. Hamilton, on the other hand had been supported by McLaren for a long time, so don't say, Schumacher had easy start. Check Kubica's story if looking for a real hero btw...

  • As I said, Schumacher had abetter start than most. That is my opinion and dont even think about twisting it.

I would have loved (just as any F1 fan) to have access to a karting track from day one.

That begining is definantly idealistic. You can have all the money in the world, but there is no guarantee you will get spotted in karting, being the son of the owner would have helped in an early start, kart racer's advice, and suport.

  • yeah - OPINION having nothing to do with the facts... good enough for me

  • Opinions are the way we perceive facts. For me, it is my opinion because I perceive facts, the way I see facts - people who start karting early in life (As Schumacher started earlier than most, if not all of the F1 drivers) I beleive its an advantage, as even rich familys usually wont notice such potential until a bit later in life (2-3 years, which can be crucial in racer devalopment.

Opinion is derived from facts, and common sence - dont you have any perception of what an opinion is?

  • cool, the only problem is - there is something wrong with your facts which you use to derive your opinions! as i said before - young Michael Schumacher was too poor to get even a new set of tyres! he got to the top thanks to his determination and hard work

  • So, the fact he had access to these tires (even used that they were). And the fact he had access to a kart track all the time, and the fact he was in competitions and training in karting from a very young age had nothing to do with it?

Admit it, he had the ideal upbrining. He was bred into Karting - not him adopting karting.

  • you're right about his upbringing - he has been in competition since very young age, which could have helped him.

but you're missing my point - it was difficult for him to race in karting as he and his family were poor - it was his determination, not money (which he didn't have at that time) that took him to F1 world...

  • totally agree 2, alonso atrue champ he is a driver with heart and guts, hamilton driver with famous gf, but no heart and no bollocks!!

  • So many anti Hamilton people here.

People whinge about his skin colour, the fact McLaren spotted him at a young age, the fact his father is his manager (Which only means Hamilton's interests are TOP priority to him), they whinge because he bested Alonso in his rookie year, and that he took Alonso's youngest WDC crown.

Get over it people, he deserves a chance - but I guess some people made up their minds about him the moment they saw his skin colour, or what team he drives for.

  • id of put hamilton there, but its to early to put him up there, i think he is bettr then alonso, or can be, and i dont no y so many hav put raikkonen up there wen he only got 1 fluky championship, but at this rate id say hamilton could go on to be the same as senna, just early days

  • agree :-)

  • hahaha hamilton could go on be the same as senna????o_O

that's impossible. he is very idiot and he's always cheating like monaco 07, hungary 07, canada 08, spa 08, australia 09...

i don't like him becos those things and becos fuking mclaren owned alonso in his favour. alonso had been the 07 champion if his team had respected the equality treatment

    GO ALONSO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pakillo027, care to name how he cheated in each instance ? And how Alonso did not?

  • in monaco 07 mclaren said to alonso and hamilton that they should have reduced revolutions. alonso did it but hamilton tried to overtake him disobeying team orders. then ham denounced the team. in hungary 07 alonso had an extra lap in Q3 but ham didn't allow him to pass and then when alonso had to stop he waited becos team said to him to wait. then ham couldn't do another lap and denounced again the team and maFIA penalised alonso becos they wanted.

  • in bahrein 08 he hit alonso becos he wanted. in canada 08 he hit raikkonen in pit lane becos he didn't know the difference between red and green in a semaphore. in spa 08 he overtook raikkonen without waiting for the next curve as the rules say. in australia 09 he lied to maFIA about the reason he let to pass trulli.

  • I wonder what Senna would have made of the Raikkonen/Hamilton battle in Spa. I wonder if he would have seen it as cheating :)

Race fans? You guys dont deserve to call your self race fans. You are arm chair lawyers and politicians. Cheating? Bring back Schummy and let him crash a few opponents off the track so these "fans" all have a collective heart attack and go away.

Cheat? Hamilton screws up. Calling it cheating is like calling masterbation genocide. Watch a race ffs and stfu.

  • if u say that all i said it's no cheating u must b a maFIA marshall lol. i didn't say that hamilton isn't a good pilot becos he is but he is very idiot

  • hamilton would of been 07 champion if the team were more favourable at the start of the season, alonso would of been 07 champion if he didnt throw his toys out of the pram, and i meant in championship

  • alonso had been 07 champion if his team had respected the equality treatment that fuking dennis promised

  • they did give equal treatment. People like you are just mad that lewis hamilton out drove alonso, also the number 1 driver of mclaren at the time.

  • hahaha. u hadn't seen 07 season. all pilots were complaining about maFIA like in fuji 07 when the liar braked down and provocated an accident between webber and vettel. and the team didn't give the equality treatment

  • what?.

  • Hamilton and Alonso were treated equally. Which is Alonso's problem. He expected as he was defending his WDC - he would be given priority over the rookie, Hamilton. This stems from his Renult days, when he was given priority.

It was said in 2007 Alonso at the start of the year was treated better than Hamilton - the FIA investigated and fined McLaren for favouring Alonso over Hamilton. Then it was evened out. (Which is when Alonso's whinging started).

  • hahahaha. hamilton was the fuking king in mclaren becos they were always helping him. he was crying always to maFIA to penalise alonso. in renault there is the equality treatment. piquet is really bad that's the problem

  • he never cried to the f.i.a you idiot. And at renault they put all their resources into alonso actually lol.

  • that's not crying. that's absolute bullshit by the F.I.A and I'm sure you would say something too, don't say you wouldn't you wanker. well I dunno if you noticed but pakillo027 was talking about equal treatment and you just proved my point. renault isn't equal treatment. Fernando alonso himself, said that he had as much of an equal oppurtunity to win and compete as lewis hamilton did, when he was at mclaren.

  • it's crying. in renault there's equality treatment but the problem is that piquet is really bad

  • Really?. so how would you know he's bad if he isn't getting equal equipment? If renault treated him like alonso maybe he'd be better, you don't know.

  • no. becos he passed Q1 3 or 4 times only when the car was the same like in all 2008 and the first 2 races of 2009

  • What did I just say? We all know renault doesn't care about piquet. They put all their resources into Alonso. It's no secret. Maybe I give piquet the benefit of the doubt here since his first season last year he's getting adjusted. Now he has the new car to deal with.on the other hand If renault would help him out a little. They're not really known for helping people out if there name isn't alonso.

  • Well I guess we'll see just how much grace and skill he has now it looks as if his car isn't the best on the track :P

  • He has already showed us a very good showing. 2 races, 2 point finishes in a car that everyone agreed is not a point-scoring car.

  • let me tell you something - i don't mind hamilton's skin colour! What i don't like about him is that he is a CHEAT, who would do whatever it takes to win, no matter the costs - remember 1st race of this season - he lied about being overtaken byTrulli (fine, if that only helped hamilton and didn't affect Trulli, but by doing so he was also saing "Trulli is a liar" - he didn't care about fellow driver!). One more thing - Alonso as rookie was starting with Minardi - much weaker team then McLaren...

  • Stop saying Hamilton is a cheat, you have no evidence to say such things. He followed his employer's orders (Which was to withold information); Which is what Frank Williams said he would have done in the same situation anyway. Which is what most teams would have done.

Schumacher is a cheat, dont forget it. A career of suspicious actions - and you wait for an scrap of dirt on Hamilton to slag him on the internet.

You hated him once you found out he is in McLaren, and black. End of storey.

  • so in that case you indicate hamilton has no brain at all - doesn't distinguish what's ok and what's wrong. Btw - funny excuse - following team orders - i wonder why he didn't obey them in Monaco GP07 when he and alonso were up in front and both were told to stop pushing the cars to the limits - alonso did so, hamilotn didn't (and started whining about his team after the race...). I guess this rule works only when it's in hamilton's favour...

and stop putting in my mouth words I DIDN'T SAY!

  • As I said, Hamilton's inocents was determind the moment you saw the colour of his skin. You will defend Schumi - regardless of his countless moments of suspicous actions (And yes, he too followed orders by the team that were not right).

You make no sence, when it comes you out-side of racing courtroom sagas - Hamilton has ALWAYS followed the team's orders. And Aus GP was NO different. On the track he is a racer, off the track he is a employee - big difference.

  • firstly - show me, where did I write, that Schumacher was an innocent driver?! Come on - point me this text! Read things carefully, the way they are posted (not the way you want them to see), before you make comments - all I say is Schumacher was a great driver (which by ANY normal meaning DOESN'T equal saint!). you r so blinded with defending hamilton, you shoot at everybody with these ridiculous accusations, which have nothing to do with reality.

  • secondly - maybe judging people by there skin colour is your thing (which would explain why you stick to this argument so persistently), but not everybody does that - certainly I don't. Once again - read what people write, don't pretend you know better what they think then themselves! You want to discuss - then seek for REAL arguments, don't make up ones!

Last but not least - being a subordinate doesn't let you stop thinking -read about Nazi's Nurnberg trial (way of their defence&what was said)

  • If judging people by skin colour was my thing, morientttes - I'd be in your position, not giving Hamilton room to breath.

You defend Schumacher, saying he worked so hard and play the violine for him and his storey. Yet skip the fact he was and is a cheat.

Hamilton has a storey similar - without money, using ability and determination - But you forget ALL ABOUT that, and focus on what would 'beleive' is cheating from Hamilton. Regardless of the fact Schumacher has done worse.

  • Hamilton since the age of 11 or 12 (not sure) had the support of McLaren - to make things crystal clear.

Anyway, i'm tired of this barren conversation - you claim to know what I really think better then me? Fine, so be it - in this case I don't need to tell you what i think about people like you, cos since you're almighty, you know it better then me anyway

good luck with your life - "smart guy"

  • He had the support because he went up to Ron Dennis and told him he wanted to race for him - Ron saw Hamilton in a kart race, and knew he had something special. He then gave him some financial aid and training since he was 14.

Schumacher had similar involvements - but with sponsors of the kart track, and personal sponsors.

I consider myself more fair than yourself. If that is better, then so be it. Better is a point of view - and from my point of view - My angle on life is 'better'.

  • However I still dont understand what your points is - about this whole 'boohoo Hamilton got help from McLaren'

McLaren wouldn't have spent a dime on Hamilton unless they knew he had something special. It hadn't been done before - they only done it because he had talent.

It was obviously clear from a very early age, that Hamilton was going to be a superstar, though I bet none could have perceived the nature of the rest of the world when it comes to skin colour or nationality.

  • I love Alonzo. All round the best driver on the track right now because he has the right mix of talent and brains. But saying Hamilton has no heart or bollocks is just silly. He has those in spades. In fact its his bollocks he needs to get control of. What he doesn't have is a fucking brain in his head half the time.

He can race, he has shown that. Right now he is 10 steps aways from being an Indycar driver.

  • nah

    1-fangio

    2-senna

    3-hakkinen

    4-prost

    5-schumacher

  • nice top 5 dude but i guess in 2 years MAYBE Hamilton get better than raikkonen or even hakkinen

  • yeah maybe or hamilton gets his ass kicked by vettel( if he gets a propper car)

  • schumi ima muda!!!!

  • raikkonen is a failure...

  • Schumacher is the best! Please at least more Schumi testing!

Schumacher, bitte! Machen Sie einen comeback?

  • those who haven't a chance to watch Schumi's race are extremely unfortunate

  • "thats how ur gonna remember me" said Schmui :)

  • Indeed. It meant nothing for the championship, but it was very symbolic. Raikkonen going on to replace Schumacher at Ferrari and what-not.

Also it was a great overtaking move.

  • michael schumacher the best driver in f1 history ... we miss you pls one more year !!

  • you know what? that you suck posting comments like this?

  • anouncer sounds like the crazy russian kid

  • hát igen. schumival kicseszni LEHETETLEN

  • hehehe. gyuszi meg se tud szólalni:D

  • Hát ez parádés volt, ahogy Palik mondja :-)

  • I loved those throttle/brake bars. Just shows how long it has been since I last watched F1 on TV.

The commentator was about to fall asleep moments ago.

Absolute class. One for the times.

  • Palik jól küldi :D

  • This Hungarian announcer is hilarious.

  • Schumi by ten závod suveréně vyhrál,kdyby mu nepraskla ta pneumatika, ale závod to byl stejně pěkný,jediný kdo tam snad všechny předjížděl byl Schumi.

  • Who is that terrible announcer, he's worse than James ALlen

  • did anyone notice shumacher's last pass was on the person who replaced him, kimi

  • en mondom ez nem semmi gyerek! amit schumi csinalt azt meg sokan nem fogjak meg csinalni

  • His name is Lewis HAMILTON

  • we miss schumi

  • Watch it at 008/010 and 030/031 -

I wonder why did Raykk.let the door open on the inside while entering the turn...

He's clearly changing his line opening outside and letting room enough to be overtaken.May be he already felt himself a Ferrari driver ?

  • ARekek WTF Language?

  • see my video about kimi vs shumi
