I guess you could call it an open D formation. But with a guitar that small, the note doesn't really apply. I just found the right bass note and tuned then tuned the guitar open accordingly.

Thanks, I was wondering that because with my guitar the open D just didn't sound the same. But maybe it really is that small guitar which makes the sound.
