Because i use a one liter jug to drink out of everyday but i don't know how much of it i should drink

When they say to drink 6-8 glasses daily does it mean to make this set of:
2 tablespoons of lemon juice, maple syrup,1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 8 oz. of pure water 6-8 times or just measure 6-8 cups of it?
