@perkalator104 Key has no effect on tone in today's western thought of music theory. To answer your question, stairway to heaven and this song only really resemble eachother based on the modal tonic they share. By ear I'd say Aeolian. Can't really judge other than that.

@lukatme2: I totally agree, except for the fact that "Guitar Deluxe" is Greg's oldest CD and his playing, his tone and his arrangement and production skills have even matured in the meantime. Also, the newer CDs feature better singers (the ones that are not instrumental, that is)
