Wish some of you geewunners would take a chill pill. The franchise always moves on and it always has to evolve. If they kept spitting out G1 remakes Transformers would be far from how widespread it is now... they have to reboot the series when their target audience grows up. It's like a fact of life on par with the fact that Santa isn't real. You have to accept it at some point.

And it's like Sabre1080 said, that's why they made DVD's. So we could secretly worship our favorite TF series.

And as you can tell, they took some pointers from Animated in their character design, which, speaking as a little bit of an anime fan myself, I didn't hate. Also, it's kind of a moot point to complain that a cartoon looks cartoony.

Prime was Orion Pacts and he was damaged when Megatron attacked him .The Alpha Trion repaired and rebuilt him into Optimus Prime..Its the way I learned it and its the only story of how he became Prime that I care for

However, you should be used to the Transformers brand being constantly reborn and reinvented by now. It's to its credit that the new mediums for the series are willing to tell their own story. You don't need to forget about G1, but if you're looking for G1 2.0, you're going to be missing out on good shows, just because it's not exactly the same as the original.

You emphasize how its the only version of the story you care for, then maybe its about time you accept yours isn't the only opinion that matters. Lots of G1 fans love the new stuff. I have been into TF since 1984 and I accept times change. Perhaps you should too.

Meh I can kind of see where you are coming from. For the most part I am only a fan of G1, but this new series has its merits and I enjoy it. It's due to the fact that there are so many different continuities in Transformers that the brand has survived for as long as it has. The way I look at it is G1 was awesome as were some of the other series but this one is great too. I've been enjoying catching the G1 references that the writers are making for the older viewers. Just my 2 cent
